snepp
You're going to need to describe your problem a little better than that.
Campo09
i downloaded the roster update Ultimate Rosters v 6.5 Plus Edition and it said to put the dat files on the disk but my computer wont let me save the new ones.
snepp
I'm still not understanding what the problem is. You downloaded the rosters. All that's left is to open the zip file, and extract the .dat files to the appropriate folder. Also note, you're going to have problems with the Plus version unless you have an updated models.big file.

snepp
Have you tried reading the instructions that are included with the update? They tell you exactly where to put the files.

JoeyMcM93
OK man here it is. Extract the folder to your C/Program Files/EA Sports MVP Baseball 2005/data/database folder. When you are asked to overwrite say "Yes To All." The roster will be put on your hard disk replacing the old ones.

Which is almost identical to what it says in the instructions included with the rosters. I didn't want to type it out, because at some point people need to do something for themselves, or they will never learn.
JoeyMcM93
Yeah, well, sometimes people just need to hear it (or read it from someone) and know that they are doing it right, despite what the directions say. But you're right, people do need to be more self-dependent.
snepp
What people 'need' is to learn how to follow directions. I realize it doesn't sound very nice, but the truth hurts, and people will be better off for it.
JoeyMcM93
LOL. OK OK I can't argue with that. People should be able to understand directions, I mean, that's what they're for.
