MillerTyme
I have mvp 2005 for the xbox, love it, play it probably more than any other game ive ever played. I love keeping up to date w/the newest rotsters and i have used both SS and UR. I reaize both of those rosters have formulas they use to do their ratings, my only question is does anyone do rosters that are like insanely current, but not focusing so much on previous yrs stats. Now what i mean by this would have a roster set where if you simmed it to the all star break, the stats for this years real all-star-break would be the same as mvps. Now just for example what i mean by this is jose lopez (2b SEA) is like 10th in the league in RBI, clearly he should be a good hitter, high 70s, low 80s maybe. Guys like johnny gomes, ryan howard, and prince fielder need to be much better hitters. Richie sexson/todd helton are not very good anymore, bonds cant field or hit too much of anything, xavier nady has some more power, jered weaver/justin verlander are very good pitchers and the ratings should reflect such. Joe Mauer needs to be at 90s in contacts. I am in no way knocking any of the roster projects and since i am using xbox im usually a few versions behind so i could be off-base, i just seem to find, mostly w/younger players, rookies or callups, that there ratings are usually way too low. So my question is does anyone havea roster set that accurately reflects current situations in MLB? i follow fantasy baseball pretty closely so i have a desire to integrate that into mvp so when a guy like josh willingham comes out of nowhere i then in turn want to have him on my mvp team. Tidalwav90
i don't know, but a big downfall to doing this with the young players is that they will all progress into great hitters
krawhitham
sounds like it is time to make your own roster
MillerTyme
i don't know, but a big downfall to doing this with the young players is that they will all progress into great hitters so what your saying is if i start young players out in the 70s or 80s and go play a dymasty they will all increase at the same pace they would have and will all be in the 90s w/in a few years?
