Do you use classic stadiums in dynasty?

As a Sox fan, I always wonder what it would be like if more teams kept their pre-war and slightly later digs into the modern era. So if I don't like the current park a team uses, I put them in their corresponding classic park. Here is my list:

Mets --> Polo Grounds

Reds --> Crosley

Cards --> Busch I

Yankees --> Classic Yankee

Angels --> LA Wrigley (When it comes out)

Twins --> Municipal Stadium

Royals --> KC Municipal (When it comes out)

Phillies --> Shibe (to be Baker Bowl when it is released)

Tigers --> Tiger Stadium

Pirates --> PNC is nice, but I like Forbes

Nationals --> Griffith

White Sox --> Comiskey (When it comes out)

I also turned the Ottawa Lynx (AAA) into the Montreal Expos and moved them back into Olympic and use the mod to change the St. Lucie Mets into the Brooklyn Cyclones and play at Ebbets.

Does anyone else do something similar?

Heh, I like your subtle hints in that post. I'm workin' on em!

Me, there's a reason why I started work on most of those parks, because I adore the '61 mod and wanted it to be as accurate as possible. I tend to play AA and AAA games in classic parks, just so they aren't wasted. Especially Ebbets and Classic Yankee, which are so, so gorgeous.

I sometimes play the Jays at Olympic Stadium. Pretend I am taking pity on the baseball fans in Montreal, and usually play a series in June, and one in August...other then that, stick to the usual MLB stadiums.

No, all the bases are pretty weak for Exhibition. Plus, it's just not a historically important stadium, really. I think if I wanted to do a rarely used park, I'd go for the Huntington Avenue Grounds, or Colt Stadium, or something.

But, you never know. If someone wants to make a mid-80s mod, I could get inspired.

Hey take your time SeanO, I'm patient :) . I was thinking of doing either League Park (Cleveland), Roosevelt Stadium (Jersey City), or Seals Stadium (SF) once I'm done with my Staten Island "training project"
