Here's another prject I'm working on. (this one I plan on completing lol). Once I get my stadium modding issues straight, I'll be releasing a new Shea Stadium (competely new stadium) and a brand new pack of concepts. I'll post some pics of the jerseys later tonight.

The jerseys I release will go over the current jerseys.

I tried my best with the way KC makes that effect on the logo. Hope it looks good. It was my first time.

Here's a little preview:

  • 2 weeks later...

I feel like everytime I try to mod something something messes it up. I finally finished my first jersey, and I go fun the file in my uniform folder, and I get a message saying Not a 24-bit BMP.

What the ****. This modding stuff is really pissing me off because everytime I try and create something, my game either crashes, or something goes wrong. If I can get this resolved in the next few days, this project, along with every other one I started will be scrapped, and I will no longer be modding. This is just retarted.

Dude don't be so hard on yourself...I just started yesterday, and it's hard as heck...but it's all trial and error. That jersey looks great...keep on modding...and it's retarded, not retarted...

The modding part is not hard. It's when I go into the game it's hard. Every time I go to the game, it crashes, or when I try to run the index file it doesn't work. And then when I ask for answers, I get stuff like "Ea Graph sucks". How the hell should that help me out.

As of now I'm retiring from modding, even though I haven't realeased a mod yet. I'll come back to modding whenever someone wants to answer my questions or MVP stops crapping out on me when I try to import my mods to the game.

As far as the files go, check with the original files and contents of each and compare it with the files you want to create and add to them. For example, the original file you want to replace that is located in a .big file may be compressed if you look at it from within the Big GUI program whereas the file you want to add isn't compressed. Or the dimensions of the image(s) may be wrong or something may be incorrect with the colors used or file size itself. And as biker_jim_uk mentioned, you may be able to resolve your "problem" by seaching for it in the forum. Someone else may have already had a similar problem and had it resolved already. But it's all trial and error to see what if anything is making it not work the way you want.

Just as with what djeagles said, it is all trial and error. Test to see if one thing is the problem. If it isn't, test something else and so on and so forth. You'll eventually get it working. Then when it works for you, you'll be creating these mods in your sleep. What you've shown looks great so far and I bet you have a lot of creativity just looking to explode. Just don't give up and try until you get it. Best of luck.

Lets go Mets! :hammer:

Well I rebuilt the files, and compressed them, and still no luck. This is so stupid. All of a sudden it doesn't want to work.

Any ideas??

Well it seems like most of the successful patchers use EAGraph/biggui for exporting a fsh they want to edit. Then they use fshed to import graphics, and gfxpak to put the patched fsh back in the models.big. I have been using EAGraph for importing graphics and fsh's along with exporting. It seems to work ok, I've only gotten a crash after trying to edit a jersey that I downloaded and tried to import a helmet into it from EAGraph. So EAGraph has its good points and its bad points. Luckily I always backup the models.big. The jersey you posted looks wonderful by the way.
