cropper7
Hi all, Just curious to know how people play with the DH rule Does anyone play in the NL with the DH? Do you think playing with the DH makes the game more fun? Do you think playing the game w/o the Dh is more fun? What is your favorite League of the two, just in general? Do you think your age is a factor in whether you like the DH or not?
nmm66
I enjoy playing without the DH in the game because it makes the game a little more interesting. When I play with AL teams, I usually dont make any subs through out the game aside from a pinch runner. With NL you actually are forced to manage the game. Of course, it is more fun to have a DH in your lineup who hits 300 than a pitcher who hits 120. So, both have their appeal, but generally I would say I enjoy playing without the DH. kgbaseball
I'm a DH only kind of guy, with both leagues. I just like that extra bit of offense. It also keeps more players happy over the course of a season.
MarkB
I keep it real - DH in AL, no DH in NL. Provides some variety.
Totte
I keep it real - DH in AL, no DH in NL. Provides some variety. I agree buddy. This is the best way to do it because it adds more realism and variety plus it gives you that little extra boost out of playing interleague games :)
brewdog
I'm anti-DH. This is purely opinion, but, I feel it takes away from the game. However you could argue that it puts one more player on the field in a game.

And it means you get to plunk your opposing pitcher, if you so please. ;)

chubbyd
I'm a fan of the strategy as much as the playing. No DH, either league. Shaq and Big Ben dont get to call in pich free throw shooters, do they?
D-Unit
i have a dynasty with the yankees and the astros, as well as nationals. if the DH ever bothers me, i just play a different dynasty and give my pitcher a bat :D
