aaronuconn
Someone should start a baseball mogul 2007 dynasty. LOL. It can be done. Since it gives you a box score and statical numbers after every game.

DanTheMan121
I didnt like how my allstar players always underperform David Wright, Joe Mauer, Derrek Lee, AROD, and Miggy Cabrera were only combining for sub .250 average in the year 2007
DanTheMan121
also when Randy Johnson dropped to a 70 from an injury and ended up getting a 2.86 ERA(on the red sox no less) after leaving my team with a post injury 5.66 ERA
maddux31
Does any of the experts think there could be a way of adding the stats that mogul provides to say like our mvp save reader? Could you not just add for formulas or fields? I would be very curious about this? Anyone else?

gcurrier2004
I have played Mogul for a few years now, but am new to OOTPB. I was a Mogul fan guy for a while, but after playing OOTPB, I must say it is FAR more detailed and adds ALOT to the game. I dont touch Mogul anymore. DanTheMan121
in ootp you can do anything... they just use the lahman database taht OOTP also uses
Tidalwav90
since mogul is 15$ cheaper and they both look almost the same I'm going with mogul.
gcurrier2004
since mogul is 15$ cheaper and they both look almost the same I'm going with mogul. They look NOTHING alike. You actully have minor league TEAMS, 40 man roster, team personel, waivers, rule 5, expanded stats.... i am not knocking mogul, but for 15 bucks, you getting ALOT more. praasch
^^ agreed...OOTP gets a lot more in depth with the stats and what you can do....and with baseball mogul, i've heard of issues with the money each team makes, and that after a few years, most of the small market teams are way in debt, past the point of what they can recover.... i've got both games installed on my laptop, and i seem to lean towards OOTP more, just because of the depth in provides.... praasch
you can get OOTP version 5 for free from the website... www.ootpdevelopments.com just gotta find a roster set that's decent...i've been running a set that was from start or middle of 04 season...and just did a fantasy draft since the rosters were somewhat old....but still is a great game and can get addicting.... seanzarelli
Haven't tried out OOTP yet, but one thing I've noticed in Mogul 2007 is the crazy trade offers you receive. For example: (This is in 1989, I'm the Mets) Milwaukee Brewers want to trade Julio Franco For Dave Magadan Jeff Gardner Terry Leach Barry Lyons Gene Walter Rick Aguilera Dae-Sung Koo Terry McDaniel
Tr0ube
I tried both and I think that OOTP is got the edge on Mogul. Just from all the details that it provides you. My question is where do you get real rosters in that game or is it impossible to get? There would be no way Im gonna sit there and play with my Cincinnati Dazzle with a bunch of no namers that I cant pronounce. lol Anyone know if theres a way to get REAL rosters?
