On the readme file it says you find the directory that contains the stuff it says on the readme but i cant figure out which one contains them. I tried all the folder in mvp baseball and it always says Runtime error: File not found.

Why is that?

Yea... I get the same problem too. I even did what Dragon had suggested, but it still gives me the same message

Make sure you double-clik on the folder "database" to point to it, (make sure the folder is shown as an open folder before you clik OK). If you don't do this, the program is going to think you're pointing to "data" folder and it won't find it and give this error.

All right, I'm not sure what you did, but I am going to just give it a try to make sure the procedure is the same as mine, which does work, okay?

First, you said "the DAT file in database" that you were trying to import: you are not importing a DAT file, you are importing everything in the "database" folder.

Second, the procedure is as follows: After opening MVP Edit, (and MVP Baseball '05 or 06, or 04 whatever you use is closed down, program not functioning), you clik on "Import" and then a window appears that says "Import DAT files" and it shows a tree of folders starting with "C:", then "Programs", then "EA Sports", then "MVP Baseball 2005", then "data 'with other folders underneath not selected. But notice "data" folder icon shows as an open folder.

Third, you scroll down to where it says "database" and double-clik to make it open.

forth, click okay.

This should work. If it doesn't you should proceed to look inside the database folder through explorer and see what is in there, if you don't see a bunch of files starting with "attrib.dat" then your database folder isn't loaded up with the correct files and something is amiss, you might have to reinstall MVP Baseball.
