Fastflink2009
I installed trues high res- ball and now none of my outfielders will throw the ball to a base only to the cutoff and whenever anyone throws it the ball like lags even though the game speed is fine and nothing else lags! Any suggestions?

big shmooz
The ball installs to the initstaz.big (located in the data folder)
meteamo
If you didn't backup that .big file, you can always re-install the original ball.fsh file back into the .big file (and removing the non-working ball.fsh) via BigGUI application that you can get from this site ... just as an idea -- if that's the problem. You can also re-install the .big file as long as you know that .big file wasn't modified from anything else. But as a rule, before I try to do any major installations, I try to back up the modified files if possible (viewing the .bat file via a text editor) just in case. *edited* I'm not sure but quick fix could be to backup the new ball.fsh file that you didn't think worked, get the old EA ball.fsh file and put it in the same directory as the .bat file and then run the .bat file again this time using the old EA ball.fsh file for the installation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

JoeRudi26
Can't you extract with EA GRAPH?
snepp
EAGraph could be used to extract the fsh file, then you could reuse Trues' bat file to install it.

Fastflink2009
when i try to open inistaz.big, nothing comes up besides just one big file, so i can't get to the ball.fsh
snepp
I've use both the dirty and non-dirty balls from Trues, no issues either time.
big shmooz
when i try to open inistaz.big, nothing comes up besides just one big file, so i can't get to the ball.fsh Right. Inside that second .big file (initstay.big) is where the ball is located. EA made a .big file inside a .big file. Go figure. Anyway, other things located in that file are your bats & gloves, goggles, hair, bases, shadow files, head files & other assorted stuff. You need to extract the second .big file from the first one. Then you can insert the new ball into the file. Then put the modified initstay.big back in to the initstaz.big. Use eagraph to do this. Actually an even easier way to do all this, is to follow the directions "meteamo" gave you on page one of this thread.
Fastflink2009
Ok well i figured out that the ball was not the problem, i got the ea ball back and while, the outfielders throw it now, it still lags 75% of the time when throwing from base to base or from the outfield to the base, anyone else had this problem?
