Fastflink2009
Worst ******* officiating in the history of basketball, the heat can go burn in hell with ******* prince wade. David stern can go **** himself.!!!! I hate the ******* HEAT AND THE REFS AND THE ******* COMMISIONER
JoeyMcM93
Whoa there man. Calm down. You can't blame it all on the refs, the players did some too.

Fastflink2009
BS from another crazy Mavs fan You have to be kidding me, DWayne wade gets every single call, if someone touches them w/ their fingernail he gets a foul call, he tripped on his own foot and got a foul call. David Stern is the worst comissioner in the history of the NBA b/c he rigged the whole damn thing!!! Sure we missed some shots, but it all came down the the refs
JoeRudi26
I'm a Pacer fan so I really don't care either way, but if I called it like I saw it tonight, the Heat are the one's that got the worst end of the officiating. With that being said, I was still pulling for the Mavs. O'Neal and Riley have enough rings already. :sleepy:

JoeRudi26
Dallas 19-23 free throws (82%) Miami 23-37 free throws (62%) =4 pt difference in Miami's favor Dallas had more fast break points, steals, offensive rebounds, less turnovers. Geesh, you think it might have been 22%3P FG (5-22), or the 37% FG shooting from the floor? Or did the refs take some shots I missed? Not to mention they blew a 14 point lead. snepp
Everyone in the NBA travels, that's not news. If the Mavs took the ball to the basket more than once per quarter they would shoot more free throws. Stern doesn't do anything, the players are in control. The Mavs blew, simple as that. homerunhitr
Well if you look at the first two games the Mavs got all the calls. IMO, the officials are so affected by the home team that they tend to make calls in their favor.
ixcuincle
I rooted for Dallas and I really dislike the Heat , but I'm not going to blame officiating or anything on Dallas' loss. Wade was just phenomonal this series...there was no answer for him.

JoeRudi26
Don't get me wrong Fastflink, I agree that the refs are too inconsistent MOST of the time. It's just blows when it don't go your way. This is my hypothetical solution: Hold these guys (refs) accountable. The players and coaches are obligated to post game press conferences, and I think the referees should be TOO. Put them on the spot. Run the tape and ask them HOW they made certain calls. Human error at live speed is going to happen, but some calls are just ridiculous. Instead of these guys (refs again) sliding off the floor into some unknown dimension and slipping away into the dark, make them accountable for what they're doing on the floor. Fastflink2009
i think there needs to be some way they can challenge or review disputable foul calls, or something. But yes i agree, it sucks when your favorite team loses.
