MarkB
I had a look around last night and couldn't find a search plugin for MiLB.com to search their player database. As the MiLB.com site is becoming more bloated by the day and it's becoming a chore to have to load the page in order to search, I made a search plugin for Firefox that means you can simply select it from the list (along with Google and the others in your search bar), type in a player name, and search for the player without having to go through the tedium of MiLB.com. I've attached the necessary files if anyone wants to use it. Just extract them in your rootProgram FilesMozilla Firefoxsearchplugins folder, restart Firefox and select it from the list. :)
kgbaseball
Oooh, very nice and convenient, Mark. I know I'll be using this a lot. Thanks

snepp
What would it take to have one for cbs sportsline's mlb player search? And ESPN.... :)
MarkB
I think ESPN might already exist, and if CBS doesn't, I'll try to whip one up during the Thunder game - 15-20 minutes. :)
snepp
I'll have to search the extensions for an ESPN one. I prefer using any site but ESPN, it's basically bloatware with a couple stats thrown in for flavor.
MarkB
Here you go snepp. There are already a couple of ESPN plugins located here, and I just completed the CBS one, attached to this post. Let me know if you have any problems. I totally agree on ESPN, BTW. Horrible. Anyone else got any requests?

OleEnglishD
Is there one for this site? If there was then that would give no one an excuse for posting the same questions over and over.
Filthy57
There's a search feature, yes. I don't think it really needs a Firefox plugin. If they aren't gonna use the search function on the site, they're surely not gonna use a plugin.
MarkB
There's already a search function here, but I suppose it's possible to make one like that for here. Might give it a shot later on.

You are probably right, but my argument would have been if they don't use the search feature, maybe they will use the plug in.
