hotman69 Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 Well, all I care about is that Auld is more than good enough goalie to get us by, Bertuzzi is a beast on ice, I don't know much about Allen. Allen is a big crease clearer. He was a 4th overall pick, but is more of a stay at home defensemen. At the beginning of the season with a lot healthier Vancouver defense, he looked like he was having a breakout year. But after the Olympics, with the top 3 D out (Ohlund, Salo, Jovanoski) and Cloutier out (our number one goalie), Allen had an increased role and it looked like it wore on him. He's not the fastest guy out there, but he gets there. Probably a number 3 or 4 on D. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nice to know that you condone premeditated, cheap shots from behind. That's just sad. And yes, the damage was worsened by the piling on, but Bertuzzi didn't have to fall on top of Moore after hitting him. He's just a thug. Too bad he's a good hockey player. What a waste. I'm am so sick and tired of it, it drives me nuts. I live south of Calgary, and if you are a fan of a team other than the Flames, you should know what i'm talking about: The media in Calgary has gotta be the worse bunch of Homers i have ever heard. it's nuts!
