wokster
Ok I've searched on the forums, read the readme, and played around with it for a day already so I figure it's time to come here. WBC Rosters Version 3 by tdebidyal http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Download...details&id=2961 Basically here is my situation. 1. Downloaded the rosters, opened up MVPEdit and imported Puerto Rico into the Phillies AAA team since this mod: http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Download...details&id=3002 puts the WBC Uniforms on that team. 2. EXPORT, I did export, before you tell me to, the process went smothly and in-game everything shows up fine... except 3. Initially everything is fine, I go to game-modes -> Exhibition, select the Seattle Mariners vs Puerto Rico and the game crashes when loading. It gives me the progress bar loading for about 1/4th of the way and then crashes to the desktop. After thinking about it a little, I thought maybe the game was confused because Joel Pineiro was on both rosters, so I tried Puerto Rico vs some random single A team, and I looked to make absolute certain that no players were the same (just in case) and the game still crashes to the desktop. So then I tried this: 1. Uninstalled, made sure all my data was gone from the folder, deleted even my savegames to be safe. 2. Reinstalled, patched to the latest version (patch 5), installed MVP Edit, made a backup of the rosters to be safe, installed the PR uniforms 3. tested to make sure the uniforms werent bugged, they work fine and look awesome. 4. put the rosters in... and it still crashed. Now I was determined to figure this out so I tried again 1. Restored the backup I had in MVPEdit 2. Downloaded v2 of the rosters... 3. Now I get a fat error telling me that the roster is not a valid .MET file for ANY file I try to import into ANY team. So... I figure reinstalling everything will fix this issue.. but the rosters still do not work for me. The readme is rather vague on whether I need a roster update, it says it uses something else as a base.. but doesnt say if I need that or not.. says it works perfectly.. I dunno, it is rather vague. Can someone post a quick step-by-step?

wokster
OH! I thought that meant that it is COMPATIBLE! as I said, that is a bit vague, If you are reading this tdebidyal you might wanna change that to say: "To work correctly, you need the following:" instead of works perfectly.. cause some (myself included) might consider that to just be compatibility. thanks, I'll see if that works.
