Ok, i want to do a dynasty, just like everyone else, and i will wait until june 30th to do it, just like everyone else, but i want to do one that people will actually follow b/c it is an interesting team. Any suggestions for teams, situations, etc.?

The Brewers intrigue me for some reason. Probably because they don't get alot of front page coverage in my area and I don't hear much about them often.

They have a great ballpark, and they have some young players (Rickie Weeks, J.J. Hardy, Prince Fielder) that are starting to make some noise.

I can't remember seeing many Milwaukee Dynasties in the forums, so it could get interesting. As far as people following, it's really hard to tell. I have an A's Dynasty going and I can't really tell if people are following or not.

I have the wackiest idea but you would need a uniform modder and a big imagination. Ah what the heck, it will never happen but here goes:

You are ATL.

You start with news clips about your team being sold and the drama and finances behind that.

Arthur Blank buys your team and fires Bobby Cox. He makes himself the manager. Imagine him coming to the mound for a mound visit, or, imagine him arguing with the ump and his "uni" is him in a 3 piece suite.

You have him as your owner and your manager. He does wild things like if Smoltz loses a game Arthur trades him. Get crazy like that.

exactly and that means... YOU MUST HAVE STRUGGLES... please dont go 72-10 or something to start season, it will get boring for all of us (including you).

I'm looking for some good trades by you also. I say choose the Nats dynasty, they are interesting to play with... but if you want the most activity i say choose KC lol, you will need to change the whole dynasty around

Orioles. I haven't seen an Orioles dynasty in a long time... With the young pitching they have you could make some good trades or bring them along slowly and watch them grow into the stars of tomorrow.

Orioles are actually a very fun team to play a dynasty with. They have lots of good talent, but are just drowned by the rest of the AL East powerhouses.

But whatever you choose, make SURE you don't go like 90% win record or anything like that. If you do that nobody will want to read your dynasty. Especially if your like the Royals and your 4th and 5th pitchers are like 10-0 and stupid stuff like that.

Enough said - Good Luck!

I think the majority of dynasties are formed around AL teams, so i think an NL team would be better. The Astros sound fun, but the Marlins have a ton of young talent to play with, especially guys like Jeremy Hermida and Hanley Ramirez.

ya the marlins sound ok, but who do they have to trade, its like the franchise is running on fumes! So i am considering the o's, nats, brewers, and astros, What about the Rangers, they have pretty good talent, or the Reds?

for the marlins, they have plenty of prospects to trade as well as delevop. So maybe some big name pitcher or another big bat could make them a contender for the wildcard.

Alright now that UR 7.0 are out, what dynasty should I do? I need some ideas b/c i'm hoping to start today or tomorrow. I'm looking for a good team w/ a farm system and young talent

the definition is Marlins.

Or Devil Rays.

Well i mean has young talent in the minors, and a pretty sturdy team w/ a couple of youngens in the majors, i was thinking maybe Baltimore, Detroit, Minnesota, or D'backs and even the hated Angels, Giants maybe, Pirates maybe, i need to narrow down this list and maybe add a few more

It's more interesting if you pick a bad team or a .500 team in a tough division with some powerhouses ahead of them that they have to overtake

Any suggestions

Edit:

I think i'm gonna do the reds
