grasshopper Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 At the end of/beginning of a new season (I always play Owners Mode), you get that screen that allows you to 1) draft players 2) sign new-draftees and re-sign players) 3) sign free agents. This is where I have the problem. I go to the sign free agents screen and select who I want for X amount of dollars. I've tried everything, including offering Garciaparra 25M for 2 years. It always says " X will consider your offer". As soon as I leave that screen, there are no options to keep free agent bids open. Basically, once you hit auto or new season, all free agent bids get cancelled. I would love this to work. Does anybody know how? But i just went back and loaded/re-ran my end of season and now I've got that screen. wierd.
