TwentySeven
I tried searching but couldn't find this, I just want what I would guess to be a basic mod - a lot of closers, when they come on, they have a special walk up music in their home stadium, the most famous of which is of course Mariano Rivera and Enter Sandman... I'm a Yankees fan, so I play the Yankees and I think it would be cool if someone made a mod so that when Mo comes in that song plays. If you wanted, since you might be doing it for him, you could also do it for a lot of other pitchers... Off hand, I know that Trevor Hoffman has Hells Bells (AC/DC) played, and Billy Wagner has Enter Sandman too.. Enter Sandman, by the way, is by Metallica =D Anyways, basically what I am really asking for is pitcher call-up music for Mariano Rivera, but other pitchers if possible. Thanks, TS
Kamasutra
sorry can't add something that isn't designed in the game. Only batters have walk-ups Enter Sandman, by the way, is by Metallica =D really? you mean it's not by clay aiken?
Jim825
really? you mean it's not by clay aiken? Clay does have his own version, but like the real Sandman, it puts you to sleep when you listen to it.... :D
TwentySeven
Either way, Mariano and Wagner come on to Metallica. Anyone up to try making this?

xman
MVP05 only includes batter walkup music. There are no ditties for entering pitchers. Even the walkup music cannot be made player-specific.
TwentySeven
No I realize that it's not already a built in mechanism. However it is possible via various other ways to do something like this. It wouldn't neccessarely be like other mods. Way to shoot down something entirely possible.

meteamo
If you know it can be done, try it yourself. LOL. Or, did you just mean to add it into the game just as with all the other music?

TwentySeven
The problem is that it is not possible to do this. It isn't? If someone completely recoded the game and included this feature, but kept everything else, I think that would qualify, fyi. since obviously that won't happen.... snepp
You wouldn't necessarely need it. I give up, you guys aren't worth arguing with. If it's so easy Mr. Smartypants, feel free to do it yourself and provide it to the community. If not, I suggest you stow the attitude, or find yourself another site to post on. xman
Here's an idea: just turn on your iPod every time you bring in Wagner or Rivera  . Believe it or not, modders can't do everything. Almost everything that has been done is well within the reasonable moddable limits of the game. This is not.

Jim825
You wouldn't necessarely need it. I give up, you guys aren't worth arguing with. Actually, we are worth arguing with. In fact, if you visit every other MVP2005 mod site, you will quickly find that the people on this site provide a higher argument value than any other site out there. Now the quality of this current argument may not satisfy your requirements, but consider what we have to work with. Had we been given better material to start with, I'm sure that you would have seen some much higher quality arguments. If you are not satisfied with your argument experience, feel free to contact any of the moderators and they will gladly refund your registration fee....
