Sean12131982
Just a couple of questions. 1. Is there a mod so that the CPU does do fair trades even if it's going to cost their team money? I'm sick of offering a decent trade and it being refused because it's going to cost them 300K more to have the player I'm offering even though they have 50 mil in the bank. 2. Is there a mod or something so that during the off season the players I sign stay on the team for spring training. I find it annoying that the CPU decides for itself who I should sign. Thanks. pfalvey
1. Turn budgets off and it'll evaluate fair trades regardless of salary. Not sure on #2.

omairee
I'm not sure I understand your question, or I would try to answer it... ... though off the top of my head, may I suggest you check your minor leagues? Sometimes I think I'm signing a young MLB worthy player, but his contract calls for him to be sent to AAA and hence I never see him on the MLB roster. To avoid the mess altogether, you could click done instead of auto-finish, then the CPU doesn't change any of your rosters. Hope any of that helped, if not, I'll check back to get a clearer idea of your question.
carolinamagi
As for Q#2, my advice is to avoid letting the computer do ANYTHING for you. That inclues roster alterations on injured players*, signings, drafts . . . . it's like the CPU wants to fail you so you can't beat it anymore . . . very "War Games" of the game . . . . Anyhow, the only time I had the option to sign/decline players is when I went through my players contract status manually . . . . good luck! * I once had an injured Jim Edmonds and I allowed the CPU to auto-fix my roster. I then went to play the next days game when I found it strange the Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, Larry Walker and Edgar Renteria had all been released . . . . so I NEVER let the CPU touch my team. Ever.
