Yankee4Life
What does this have too do with MVP 06? Good question. And since I can't answer it, I just moved this topic in the Mvp 05 forum just to make me look smart. :)

Mav3rek
Most likely because everybody's looking at our site and wanting to play some more PC baseball... smileI couldn't agree more.... This site makes MVP's replay value infinite. Which then makes trying to purchase the game that much harder. Sorry about MVP being so tough to buy man. If I see it anywhere I'll let you know. adamb10
What do ya expect? The game is a collectors item, the last MLB game that EA probobly will ever make for a while.
krawhitham
EA no longer gets any money from sales for this game and with Ebay users screwing baseball fans I going to say this just once Newsgroups is your friend
snepp
Newsgroups is your friend I put the number of users on the board who know what newsgroups are at less than a 1%.

GreenMonsta
Okay, so if EA is no longer receiving money for MVP 05 then wouldn't it be a moral thing to illegally download the game?

Applejak
I guess I was relly lucky then. I got it off amazon for 26.99. But I just looked and its now out of stock. Maybe the mods - if they were feeling entrepeneurial (thats so wrong) - could bulk buy a load off EASports, and sell them on at a modest profit. There must be like a thread a week asking about where to buy it, so youd definately generate the interest. But its probably too much hassle, for too little reward. giantjeff
I admit, I saw this site and was instantly craving the game. Never really played pc baseball but now I'm addicted. Got my copy on ebay for $49 and felt I got a deal compared to what others were bidding. I found a lot of humor in the fact that the previous owner had left the price tag on the box of what they paid for it ($29.99). I could picture him saying, "sucker!" krawhitham
Okay, so if EA is no longer receiving money for MVP 05 then wouldn't it be a moral thing to illegally download the game? If they no long make the game If they no long gain any money from it's sale is it a moral thing to feed the scalpers When a company no longer supports, makes, or sales a game it is called abandonware If someone bought the game on ebay for $80 bucks could they go to EA to get the needed patches to fix the studdering problem? here try http://www.easports.com/games/mvp2005/downloads.jsp could you do it? NO they have abandoned the game
maxbjr
try target or walmart, I found a new mvp 05 for pc at walmart for 19.95 last week. those stores get the games about a month or more later then other places and keep lowering the price until they sell out of em.
