I say this is your dynasty. Have fun with it. If that trade made sense to you then that's all that matters. Good luck. Bring a championship back to Cincinnati.

I'll try, thanks, and just so you know, before I post the next game, the newcomers, Liriano nearly had a Perfecto

Game Preview:

Francisco Liriano

liriano6ua.jpg

Liriano, who was just acquired from the Twins, will make his 1st start as a Red. The whole town is excited to see what this young player brings to the table. With a mid to upper 90's fastball and a dirty breaking ball, Liriano dominates games. Liriano faces a weak D-backs lineup tonight so look for a great pitching performance.

Brandon Webb

Webb has struggled greatly this year, but this could be from the lack of the run support. Webb has all the tools to be great pitcher, but he is very inconsistent, some games looking like a Cy Young, and others like a single A pitcher. Like all pitchers against the Reds must do, it is crucial for him to keep the ball down and away, because the Reds big bats punish inside pitches.

Orlando Hudson dives in the hole for a groundball and throws the runner out falling over on his knees

John Kruk's Game Analysis

"The City of Cincinnati has found what it was looking for. Finally they have a true ACE. Watching Liriano tonight reminded me of Pedro Martinez in his early days. The hitters were truly afraid when they stepped up to the plate. Liriano was bringing his fastball in at 97-99 miles an hour and when he threw that curveball or slider, the hitter knew he wasn't going to hit it. Liriano had a perfect game going into the 9th inning until O-Dawg, Orlando Hudson hit a single to right. But Reds fans, this is just a taste of what you will see from Francisco in the future."

Just wanted to say nice dynasty so far! (would have kept Bronson) JMO

Thanks, I really wish I kept Bronson, but I guess it was worth it to get Liriano. I don't know though. We will see as the season goes on. Thanks for the support

Nice job, man.

The trades should be whatever you want, because sometimes people get crazy, so you never know.

On a side note:

 The Cubs are over .500?!?!?!?!

Too bad this isn't real.

Hah, I know, the Padres have the best record in the Majors? Oh well, at least the Reds are leading the NLC

I dont think you could trade either of them for Hughes, but maybe Gardner of Bailey they would trade for, with an MLB veteran. Just my suggestions. Have fun trying to aquire him, hope you land him.

Never would I trade Homer Bailey, I would shoot myself if I traded him, as for Richie, I'm not sure yet, I think the Yankees might just take Wilson straight up, lets hope so because I'm offering it
