Wow. The part you just added makes a great dynasty EVEN BETTER. I wish the Reds good luck in your dynasty. Since you tend to aquire many prospects, why not try for Duncan on the barn [farm] team? EDIT: Oops, I meant to say on the Yankees farm system. Good luck, Chris Young (because of your avatar).

Game Preview:

Jose Contreras

Jose has had a great year, posting one of the best records in the majors. He has helped the White Sox gain 1st place in the AL Central and is becoming a serious contender for the first half Cy Young. He has dominated opponents with his great splitter and his moving fastball. No team has had an answer for this Cuban all-star and if the Reds want a win in this game, they need to jump on him early and knock him out of the game before he can get in his groove.

Francisco Liriano

Liriano has struggled this year in the wins and losses columns but has succeeded in the ERA department. It seems like when he pitches, the Reds take the night off at the plate. He never seems to have any run support in the games he pitches which would account for his average record. Liriano must stay away from the big inning in this one if he wants to come out with an ERA under 10. Like they say, all he has to do is win every inning and he will win the ballgame.

hey man, this is a sweet dynasty. one tip though. when you do your report, you should probably add a small stroke to the outside of the pictures. it looks more professional and stands out more. also you should probably put a border around the report so it doesn't blend in with the grayish background of the forums. but what do i know? just keep this dynasty up and interesting. good luck.

nice job on sweeping the white sox, I can't stand AJ Pierzynski, if he ever said a word to me while I'm batting (in real life) I'd get suspended for quite awhile because this guys such an asshole. I'm glad Michael Barrett nailed him, even though it was a cheap shot..

That doesn't mean I hate the white sox, I like them but I like your young Reds, theyre very good. Nick Markakis is turning out to be a gem and we all know about Liriano, good luck and keep up the good work

well in photoshop (i know you don't have it though), you select the layer which the picture is, and go to edit>stroke, and choose how much and what color. hope that helps. good luck.

Reds beef up Bullpen and Minor with Trades

Today Brian Cashman of the Yankees called the Reds asking about the availability of Chris Denorfia. Reds GM Harold Reynolds told him that he was available but would only be traded for a good propspect. Cashman said he was willing to do this so the Reds and Yankees worked out a deal. This deal sends RF Chris Denorfia, SP Josh Hall, and 1B Jesse Gutierrez to the Yankees for RP Jesus Colome, CF Jose Tabata, and 1B Eric Duncan. The Reds now are loaded with minor league prospects and Reds GM Harold Reynolds said, "This was part of my plan. I now have an abundance of prospects of which to choose from, and now I can offer some of these prospects in trades for good major league players in the future."
