myk13
before i go all out on this thing, just want to know how many people would be interested and if i should even go about this dynasty. I did a fantasy draft and heres my roster. STARTING ROTATION SP - Brandon Webb SP - CC Sabathia SP - Cole Hamels SP - Jon Lester SP - Brian Bannister LRP - AAron Sele MRP - Scott Linebrink MRP - Jorge Vasquez MRP - Duaner Sanchez SU - Eric Gagne SU - Derrick Turnbow CP - Trevor Hoffman POSITIONAL PLAYERS 1B - Albert Pujols, Adrian Gonzalez 2B - Chone Figgins, Ian Kinsler 3B - Chipper Jones SS - Khalil Greene, Yuniesky Betancort LF - Randy Winn CF - Nook Logan, Lastings Milledge RF - Delmon Young C - Victor Martinez, Mike Difelice GOOD TO GO The new MLB season has started off and the San Diego Padres struck first blood beating the visiting Tampa Bay Devil Rays 4-3 in a Sell out crowd at Petco Park. The Padres were loosing the first half of the game until Albert Pujols drove a first pitch fastball over the Left Field Fence to tie the game up at one apiece. The Devil Rays retook the lead however in the top half of the seventh when Alfonso Sorianno and Richie Sexson went back to back off starting pitcher Brandon Webb. Sorianno had Two Homeruns in the game. The bottom half of the eighth is where all the San Diego action really took place. Nook Logan led off the inning smacking a single to right field and then later stole second base. Chipper Jones followed that up with an infield chop single advance Logan to Third. The dangerous Albert Pujols came up with runners on the corners and no outs but grounded into the 4 to 6 to 3 double play but bringing home a run. The inning ended with Randy Winn singling to left and Victor Martinez hitting a two run BOMB over the Centerfield wall. Trevor Hoffman then came in and closed out the game. im having trouble posting my BOX score result that i exported from TY's creations

The_Jerk
Why would you draft four starting third baseman instead of one half decent shortstop?
myk13
no no no Jerk thats not a draft, its San Diego Born baseball players playing back home in San Diego for the padres i have not started that dynasty yet just trying to gather names ..thats all i can find for SS :(
redsox
Go with your fantasy draft team. You got Albert Pujols on your team that should definately give you an immense boost.
Mav3rek
Definately go with the first. The San Diego players are mainly pitching heavy, and San Diego isn't realy an offensive park. Keep Pujols, and Webb will hold down the rotation for you.
myk13
PUJOLS' SECOND HOME RUN WINS THE RUBBER MATCH UP After a great pitching matchup between rookie Lefthander Cole Hamels and Tampa Bay Starter John Thompson the battle came down to the bullpens. The San Diego bullpen held up stronger with Aaron Sele getting the win and after loading up the bases in the 7th. Derrick Turnbow came in on relief in the eighth inning while Trevor Hoffman got his second save in the ninth. As much as Hamels wanted to win his hometown debut he is happy that the club pulled out as the victors. myk13
JAYS TAKE GAME ONE IN 13 Before the Game even took place there was action as the Padres traded 3B CHipper Jones and OF Lastings Milledge to Toronto for 3B Adrian Beltre. With the open roster spot the padres called up OF Ben Johnson from AAA Portland. The trade seemed to effect both teams as Adrian Beltre Homered in his First AB as a Padre. For the Blue Jays, Lastings Milledge pinch hit in the 13th hitting a Double into the Right Center field gap and was later brought home by guess who...Chipper Jones.
