I installed MVP2k5 (clean install) then added the EA Patches (1235) then downloaded the ILF ( the one that took forever) if thats the one.. once i got that all installed i went to play a dynasty.. got to the preseason game.. pick the pitches and the game started loading.. once it loaded.. it froze and all i heard was faint crowd cheers and BAM my game minimizes and i get a VPU recovery notice from ATI and i had to restart the computer.. Thanks and appreciated.
big shmooz
You added nothing else? No updated rosters? The CD in your CD drive works fine?

snepp
Bumping is bad, mkay. Anyway, more info is needed... Does the game work properly after a clean install? (meaning no mods at all) What do you mean a preseason game (this isn't football  )? Are you trying to play a dynasty that you had already started before installing the 06 mod? If you are trying to play an existing dynasty, it's likely a cyberface problem causing the game to crash. Do you have any problems with exhibition games or new dynasty games? If not, what other steps have you tried to fix the problem? Reinstall video drivers? Anything?

No If not, what other steps have you tried to fix the problem? Reinstall video drivers? Anything? Well i recently reformatted and installed a new ATI driver called NGO 1.6.6 that could be the problem.. i'll reinstall MVP06 all together later tonight with a differ driver. Sorry for the bump i just need a mod to have further ideas. and thank you for the response..
snepp
Yes it works fine.. it even worked fine when i did the cyberfaces and the fox sports scoreboard These mods weren't installed when you did the ILF install correct? Yes a dynasty sorry for the preseason part.. didnt mean that.. i ment regular season. So a brand new dynasty then I'm assuming. I got a bit confused when you bolded the same question twice, wasn't sure if that was intended or if the "no" was meant for a different question. (it's really early in the morning) Well i recently reformatted and installed a new ATI driver called NGO 1.6.6 that could be the problem.. i'll reinstall MVP06 all together later tonight with a differ driver. After doing a clean install of MVP and installing patch 3 (only one you'll need), I suggest making a backup copy of the entire install directory. It will likely save you time in the future. Bags1991
These mods weren't installed when you did the ILF install correct? Nope, i did a fresh install... then another fresh install to install the ILF.. So a brand new dynasty then I'm assuming. I got a bit confused when you bolded the same question twice, wasn't sure if that was intended or if the "no" was meant for a different question.
