If anyone has played it I'd like to know what they think of it. Also are there good mods for this game as well? I wasent so into it because i was raised on playing Triple Play, Then MVP and i used to play the older MLB games like 2000 and 99. I enjoy mvp more than i enjoyed The Show. djjoe Posted July 8, 2006 Share Posted July 8, 2006 It's an ok game.The commentary is awesome,pretty cool cutscenes,the guess pitch feature is pretty cool,and its an ok simulation,but no minors,the dynasty team cpu management,especially on fantasy draft ,is ridiculous,graphics arent very impressive,lack of sliders,so the game really isnt customizable,and the game has two glitches that Ive seen for myself,and those being baseballs going through fielders,and the cpu pulling their SP around the 5-6 inning,no matter if they are pitching a no-hitter.Its worth a rental,so you can see for yourself. The graphics were amazing (compared to my good ol' GB Color), the gameplay was solid, and I really liked the feel of it all. If I had a PSP, I would definitly buy that game (and play it 24/7). But hey, not everyone has the same opinions I do. NYM Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 I actually bought The Show. It's a very good game, but it's no MVP. The graphics arent good at all, and gameplay can be shaky, but the commentary and cutscenes are amazing. That's where it beats MVP but that's all. I love at the beggining of the game, your at the front entrance of the stadium. Career mode is good to. I would buy it if you can't get MVP for the PC.
