EnglishDBacker
Yo peeps, I Started a dynasty early in the week, but decided as a mega challege, i would start as Milwaukee, a team with no money..I Figured since im gonna be playing on all-star level which is a pretty hard challenge for me, Id make some trades and sacrifice some offense for pitching...Below is my Starting Rotation and my Everyday batting lineup...Anyone has any opinions, or suggestions of a suitable batting order for these guys..would be much appreciated. ROTATION. Mark Mulder Ben Sheets Matt Riley Zach Day Jeremy Affeldt STARTING LINEUP. Bobby Kielty Craig Counsell Junior Spivey Juan Gonzalez Lyle Overbay Keith Ginter Ben Grieve Wes Helms (pitcher) Any advice on anyone i should consider trading, a batting order, Or any opinions on how badly ive been raped in my trades or how my offense sucks badly welcomed. PS I used free agents to my advantage in a big way..No Cheating At All.
pfunk880
Nice work turning the Brewers into that. Not bad at all. What do you have left in your bank?
EnglishDBacker
About 1,100 i think, Could be a problem at the end of the season when its contract renewing time..BUT il worry about that at that time My pitching i think is pretty decent, Ive got Vizcano as closer after i traded the usual guy to Oakland as part of the deal that brought Mark Mulder and Justin Duschchererererer to Milwaukee. Wolverineman
Looks pretty good. Only two things, who is your catcher, I can't seem to find one in the lineup, and you might want to find a better leadoff hitter, but I've always been a person who wanted a fast guy as my leadoff hitter, and Kielty isn't the most swift of foot. I guess thats just up to the person though. The only person I might use as a leadoff hitter is Spivey, but he's more suited for a spot lower in the lineup. EnglishDBacker
Ah My BAD My Catcher is still Chad Moeller, he would be batting 8th and Helms or Ginter would hit the bench..That isnt my actual batting order because im struggling to put it together correctly..Any ideas on a lineup given the players i have? EnglishDBacker
Can anyone suggest a suitable batting order for the batting lineup stated above, Im really finding it hard to get them in a decent order as im not used to, or familiar with sorting batting lineups Thanks
Wolverineman
Well looking at it again this is how I'd do it I think: Craig Counsell Bobby Kielty Junior Spivey Lyle Overbay Juan Gonzalez Wes Helms Ben Grieve Chad Moeller Counsell might not be the best leadoff hitter but I think it would work. I might move Kielty down to like #5 or #6 and move everyone else up one. Or I might move Spivey down to like #5 or #6 and move Overbay/Juan-Gone up one each.
