Cardinalbird7
I just joined this site, and i have xbox but I was thinking about getting mvp for pc. But anways I have a few questions, If i get the action replay for xbox..will it allow me to upload the new stadiums and uniforms even If i do not have a modded xbox. If so I might just consider getting this instead of getting the game for the PC. Also for the PC does it allow you to play on the servers anymore, because it doesnt on the xbox. I am just debating if I should get the game for PC or just get the action replay. So would it be easier just to get the PC game?
tebjr
All you can get with the AR is the rosters. You can play IP to IP, but the servers are down now. PC would be your best choice.
Cardinalbird7
Thanks, the only other problem is that my PC is not really a "gaming" pc. Would I have to make any major upgrades or does MVP run well on Dell computers?
tebjr
I have a Dell and it runs fine. Just depends on what your specs are.
Cardinalbird7
Well I am not for sure on all of that. Only thing I know is i have 512 mb of RAM with a 2.66 GHZ proccessor. Would it be neccessary to buy a new video card, because I do not want to play it if it looks like a Playstation game.

Brings performance way down. I new vid card will be a definate must for you. I know there are several video card discussion threads on the boards already with some good info. Type of card depends on the slot on your motherboard(AGP/PCI-E) and how much you are willing to spend. PC version is the way to go. Just got done building me a new system and this game and site have brought me back to PC baseball gaming.
Sidewinder
Dell's dont "usually" have a on-board graphics card. It depends on the model you get. The lower crap ones might where the upper models will have a Radeon usually. Based on the specs Cardinalbird7 has, I would guess he has a Radeon 9800 128 Meg card and his computer is about 3 years old. Mine is the same generation and runs MVP great.
