Fantasy Draft Order

I'm just wondering in what order do you guys draft players when doing fantasy draft?

There is this gamefaqs guide that has one way to do it:

But, I'm just wondering what order everyone else drafts.

I've never done a fantasy draft dynasty but I looked at it and I'd do it in this order:

#1 starter

top power hitter

#2 starter

closer

2nd power hitter

and so on

but you may rank one of those higher than I would

This is my usual order.

1.Outfielder

2.Pitcher

3.Pitcher

4.Infielder

5.Closer - Half the time I also go with a starting pitcher.

After that I usually (not always) go with the best players in the respective position that I am drafting. For my bench players I usually go for good contact and speed.

Whenever I try fantasy draft I always go with either Andruw Jones or Vladimir Gurrero or Albert Pujols if any of them are available.

For me personally though pitcher is #1 and then offense the ace is the most important thing for me and then I build my offense and guys around it

I always start with power hitter, and order as follows:

1. Power Hitter (IF/OF, depends on who is avaliable)

2. #1 Starter

3. Power Hitter (OF/IF, usually diff pos than #1)

4. #2 Starter

5. Catcher (I think Catcher is pretty important)

6. #3 Starter/Closer (Depends on who is better)

7. Hitter/Runner

8. Closer/#3 Starter (Diff than #6)

and so on so forth,

b4 I used to start w/ 2 hitters, 2 pitchers, and etc, but later figured out that I will only get a so-so pitching team (usually ranked 25-30...), with this rotation I can have everything ranked top 10, and I can have a team that I can do very well.

p.s. I dunno y, but I got Ichiro in 3rd round 80% of the time^^

I prefer to get a power hitting corner outfielder than Ichiro personally

I used to do drafts when I wasent as much into the game as I am now. I used to always draft the power hitter first then a pitcher. I always kept my eye on relievers however.

I don't like to do fantasy drafts because it takes away from the realism.. I prefer to have realistic teams

Sometimes I do fantasy drafts to escape reality. I don't have a specific order but I always base my team around these guys, I fill my minors with prospects for trade bait.

2B Alfonso Soriano

3B Alex Rodriguez

SS Derek Jeter

LF Carl Crawford

SP Johan Santana

I usually have to trade for Jeter or A Rod. Soriano too.
