MarkB
I'm having no trouble at all with 7.0, same as the other versions. I think if it was a widespread issue there would be a hell of a lot of posts made about it, so it's probably an isolated incident. Why it's happening, though, I have no idea. I'm using the latest version of MVPEdit, 2006.2, so if you're not using that, give it a shot.

ebh0113
Mine's working fine as well. ^^was there an overwrite message that popped up when you did that? If not then there's a problem. It sounds to me like you're extracting the folder instead of the .dat files. Check your database folder, there should be 20 .dat files. Try re-dowloading them and see if anything changes. Also extract the files to the desktop, then move them to the respective folder.
cruecu
well i have the ps2 version that kraw did for UR 7..no melky, beam, or smith on the mlb team..still sturtze, sheff, and matsui..so could it be the actual rosters if it's a universal console problem? D-Unit
they dont update as far as DL'ed people, so melky, beam and smith aren't supposed to be on the MLB team. These are accurate rosters without people on the DL. As in where they would be playing without injuries happening.

Thanks for posting that as I've grown rather tired of explaining that time after time.

RaptorQuiz
I just copied the .dat files into the database directory, as opposed to doing the whole MVPEdit thing... and it worked fine. Couldn't tell ya what's going on with the MVPEdit issue. But the rosters look good now.
