1B Shea Hillenbrand and RP Ryan Houston to SF for RP Jeremy Accardo

For the Jays:

Pros

They get rid of a clubhouse distraction

They get a set up guy for the future

Cons

None really

For the Giants:

Pros

They get a 1B that the other teams in their divison wanted

They get a reliever in return

Cons

Shea is notorious for cooling down in the second half

Houston has never shown much

They lose the guy who would replace Benitez

Injury

Pete Walker is out for the season with a torn rotator cuff.

Roster changes

League -> AAA

Accardo - replaces Chulk

Downs -> MLB

Marcum -> replaces League

Griffin -> MLB (for bench @ LF or 1B)

Hinske -> DH

Scouting Report on Seo

4SFB, 2SFB, Changeup, CRV, Slider

He often lets hitters get the better of him. Since he doesn't have much trust in his pitches, he usually overuses his average fastball. His best pitch is his slider. He is also a marginal fielder with a good move to first

Scouting Report on McGowan

4SFB, Slider, CRV, Changeup

This kid has the makings of a top end of the rotation starter, that is if he can put it all together. His fastball has a sink to it, which results in alot of easy grounders. All of his pitches have good movement. What he needs to work on is getting ahead in the count. He is a average fielder.

Another see saw match for the Jays. Both starters gave their teams a good chance to win. The Jays tied the game up in the 7th, and went ahead in the 8th. BJ Ryan came in the 9th, 2Ks, 0-2 count, Game over? Nope, Ryan gave up a triple then a single to tie the game up again. After that the Jays and Rays kept fighting back. But Gomes hit a 2 Run HR in the 13th, which is all they would need to defeat the Jays, even thoguh JFG made it interesting with a solo shot in the bottom of the inning.

Scouting Report on Kazmir

Ace Potential for sure. All his pitches are great. The question for Kazmir is of he can gain some control and endurance.

This might be a little off topic here but did you see the score of the White Sox vs. Royals game?
