seanzarelli
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone happens to own a copy of Nascar Sim Racing 2003 Season for the PC that they no longer use anymore, and if so, maybe be able to purchase it from them. Kriegz
I've thought of picking that game up just because of the moddability.
tebjr
Just make sure you have enough swap-space. When I installed it, I was given a warning that the game needs 150mb of swap-space.
RRodkey
I have a copy of it. It is still considered to be one of the top racing sims ever developed. I saw it advertised on one web site for $100.00 (not a typo). It is very hard to get now as Papyrus discontinued the series.

tebjr
Have you made any new car skins for the game Fuzz?
seanzarelli
Yah I had the game at one time but was stupid and gave it away. However the game is amazingly awesome, just a shame I can't fork over the $100 or so people are selling it for on eBay and Amazon.
seanzarelli
Fuzz, why don't you show them the car I made for you? ;-)
tebjr
Not to try and hijack your thread Franchise, but how would I go about getting the swap space to play the game. I know where to go to add it, but no changes I made would work. Thanks.

Kriegz
I thought he meant the EA Sports one but damn, I have the 2002 version of Papyrus/Sierra Nascar Racing, I wonder how much it would be worth.

A couple sites that might be able to help you would be www.nascarnet.com (which I would try first as they have message boards there) or www.masgrafx.com (I think this site only has mods though) Sorry I couldn't help, hope you get it figured out though so you can enjoy the game. rskjackson
I have a copy of the Nascar 2003 program for PC and haven't used it that much, no time for it now that I've been inflicted with the MVP fever. After checking the prices for it on E-bay, I didn't realize that I had a little gold mine on my hands. I would be willing to part with my copy if someone can come up with a good trade. I'm looking for a gold nugget of my own in the old Bowl Bound football game from Avalon Sports. Looking to find the hard to find version two set. Like a General Manger, I'm always looking for a good trade!

seanzarelli
RSK, I would have loved to take you up on your offer that you PM'ed me but I just can't afford it since I am jobless at the moment and the $$$ is starting to dwindle down. However, do you collect baseball/football/basketball cards? Maybe we can make a deal there? I believe I have either a Gem Mint or the grade right below Gem Mint for a Shaq Rookie Card. rskjackson
Sorry...but I don't collect baseball, basketball, or any cards of that type. I have a bucket of baseballs. Anyone ever play Strat-O-Matic? On E-bay, an original 1963 game is still on bid and the price has reached over $1000. Whoever wins that, better have it delivered by a Brinks Truck! seanzarelli
Sorry to bring this topic back to life since it's been about a month and a half, but everyone that plays it and has a legit copy of it, maybe we can all start a league or something like that. I believe when you go to online play, you can set up a spot on Sierra's server that can be set to need a password to get in. If anyone is interested, hit me up by PM or AIM (d1git4lcha0s)
