Help DataFile Refuse to Decompress

I used to decompress and compress data files before but all of a sudden the datafile refuse to decompress. I put the datafile with the

df utility and the eazip in the data file together, it wont decompress at all.

that should work. so long as the eazip and your datafile.txt are in the same folder.....

is the filename and/or extension of the datafile correct, it must be "datafile.txt"

make sure there are no spaces or any extra characters in the filname and that the extension is correct.

also...check the "default datafile.txt location" used by DFComp Utility....make sure it points to the same folder that the datafile is in.

also....try another datafile just to see if perhaps there is something corrupt with your datafile.txt?

Ive done all of that you suggest maddiesdaddy. The Df utility says it has decompress datafile.txt to datafileEdit but when i open it up nothing is decompressed.
