cybernetic
I'm going to restart my Jays dynasty due to the ratings being wrong for most guys in this version as well. I won't start until UR 7.1 Plus comes out. I will post the lineups once UR 7.1 comes out because there could be Jays trades before then that could really impact the team as it is. I will include actual (non-DL) rosters will all accurate players including the A-ball guys which in UR 6.5 was missing many guys from the A roster. Probably not much will change for the Jays rosters before UR 7.1 but I won't post anything as far that at this point as starting lineups, etc.

cybernetic
I could start it sooner if I get the face ID list that corresponds with UR 7.0, I've PMed big shmooz asking for it. From what I hear UR 7.1 won't be released until the weekend anyway.

cybernetic
Thanx.. the rotation will likely be: Halladay Burnett Lilly Chacin Janssen or McGowan (I haven't decided) Unless the Jays make a trade for a starter before then.. I'll leave Towers in AAA to start the season and probably trade him.
cybernetic
Now that UR 7.1 is out I'm going to announce my starting lineups, rotation and bullpen. Rotation: Roy Halladay A.J. Burnett Ted Lilly (LH) Gustavo Chacin (LH) Dustin McGowan Bullpen: Scott Downs (LR-LH) Vinnie Chulk (MR) Brandon League (MR) Pete Walker (MR) Scott Schoeneweis (SU LH) Justin Speier (SU RH) B.J. Ryan (CP) Jason Frasor will begin the season in AAA. The reason is that his command was way off in spring training and I'm gonna start him down there to work it out. Josh Towers also lost his command and will start the season in AAA. He was designated for assignment and probably will be outrighted there. Lineup vs. RH: Russ Adams 2B Frank Catalanotto LF Vernon Wells CF Troy Glaus 3B Lyle Overbay 1B Shea Hillenbrand DH Alex Rios RF Bengie Molina C Aaron Hill SS Bench vs. RH: Reed Johnson OF John McDonald SS/IF Eric Hinske 3B/1B/RF/LF/DH Gregg Zaun C Lineup vs. LH: Reed Johnson LF Aaron Hill 2B Vernon Wells CF Troy Glaus 3B Shea Hillenbrand DH Bengie Molina C Alex Rios RF Lyle Overbay 1B John McDonald SS Bench vs. LH: Russ Adams 2B/SS Frank Catalanotto LF Eric Hinske 3B/1B/RF/LF/DH Gregg Zaun C The season opener is vs. the Minnesota Twins: Starters will be Roy Halladay and Johan Santana. The Jays will look to get off to a good start to the season at home with their ace on the mound but it will be a tough task against the 2004 Cy Young winner in the AL. cybernetic
Jays fall in extra innings in season opener Lost 3-2 to the Twins in 11 innings. Twins jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 4th on 4 straight hits and a sacrifice fly. Justin Morneau and Jason Bartlett picked up RBI's in the inning. Vernon Wells tied the game for the Jays in the 7th with a two-run shot off Johan Santana (one of only 4 Jays off him in the game). Both starters went 9 innings, although Santana's line was more impressive although the result was the same. Roy Halladay gave up a very high 13 hits in the game (only one going for extra bases). Most of his hits allowed were singles up the middle or between the infielders. The Twins retook the lead in the 11th on a Rondell White RBI single. Then Joe Nathan did his job striking out of the side in the bottom of the inning to preserve the win for Minnesota. Boxscore Game 2: A.J. Burnett will make his first start as a member of the Blue Jays after signing a 5-year deal as a free agent in the off-season. The veteran Brad Radke will start for the Twins. Dom2662
Tough loss. Great Jays dynasty as well. I'll be following as always.
cybernetic
I always lose to Santana so it's nothing new.. what suprised me was that Halladay was so hittable though. I probably hadn't played a game in a couple weeks though so I'm a bit rusty and my timing is off.
Dom2662
Yea, know what u mean. I have a Yankees dynasty and when i play the Twins, Santana just owns. He strikes me out alot. He's a monster on the hill.
The_Jerk
Its just his ability to change speeds that messes us up. I usually have the same problem with Edwin Jackson.

cybernetic
Burnett Dominant in Toronto Debut Toronto 3, Minnesota 2 The Jays struggled to get much offense going for the second straight night but they didn't need much with the way A.J. Burnett was pitching. Burnett was absolutely dominant as he threw 8 shutout innings allowing just 5 basehits. B.J. Ryan's debut was not as spectacular as he barely notched the save allowing 2 runs to score on 3 hits in the outing. Fortunately for him, the Jays scored 3. Frank Catalanotto drove in the first run in the 5th with an RBI double to left that scored Aaron Hill all the way from first. Vernon Wells would add a 2-run single in the 8th. The Twins scored 2 runs in the 9th inning. The first on a Michael Cuddyer single and the other on an error to John McDonald who had come in as a defensive replacement for Russ Adams. They could not bring home the tying run as Rondell White flew out to end the game. WP: A.J. Burnett (1-0) LP: Brad Radke (0-1) SV: B.J. Ryan (1) Players of the game: Toronto: A.J. Burnett (WP, 8.0 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, BB, 4 K) Minnesota: Torii Hunter (3-for-4, 2B) Boxscore Up next: Southpaw Ted Lilly takes on the sinkerballer Carlos Silva in the rubber match of the series. cybernetic
Lilly Roughed Up as Twins Take Rubber Match Minnesota 7, Toronto 5 Ted Lilly struggled with his command and gave up 12 basehits and 7 earned runs in an eventual 7-5 loss to the Twins in the rubber match. cybernetic
Jays Fall to D-Rays, Lose Glaus Tampa Bay 6, Toronto 2 Thursday's loss to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays was made worse by the news that 3B Troy Glaus was placed on the 15-day disabled list after the game. Glaus left the game in the 4th inning after sliding awkwardly. Team doctors diagosed him with a minor sprain of his knee. He is expected to just miss the minimum of 15 days. The big inning for the Devil Rays was the 7th where they scored 4 runs, capped off by a 2-run home run from Rocco Baldelli that all but ended starter Gustavo Chacin's day. Chacin would stay in to finish the inning because reliever Jeremy Accardo was not yet ready to come in since he had just gotten up not long before the home run. Chacin allowed 5 runs but only 2 were earned as the result of a Frank Catalanotto throwing error that would've ended the inning with just one run scoring. Alex Rios had the best day offensively for the Jays going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles. WP: Jae Seo (1-0) LP: Gustavo Chacin (0-1) SV: N/A Scoring summary: T3: Crawford single scored Lugo B4: Glaus single scored Adams T7: Lugo single scored Hollins T7: Crawford double scored Lugo T7: Baldelli HR scored Crawford T8: Navarro single scored Wigginton B8: Catalanotto single scored Hill Players of the game: Toronto: Alex Rios (2-for-4, 2 2B's) Tampa Bay: Rocco Baldelli (2-for-5, HR, 2 RBI) Boxscore Up next: Dustin McGowan will take on Tim Corcoran in the middle game of the three game series. Transactions: -Placed 3B Troy Glaus on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained knee -Recalled LF/DH John-Ford Griffin from Syracuse (AAA) -OF Tony Miller promoted to AAA from AA Notes: Eric Hinske is expected to get the majority of the playing time at third in Glaus' absence while Griffin will DH versus right-handers. cybernetic
I'm gonna do some things to tweak my lineup.. the bottom 3rd of it isn't hitting except for Hill.. I can't seem to hit much with runners in scoring position and I get a lot of bloop singles but not for much power. Griffin will get a look while Glaus is on the DL but he'll probably go back to AAA when Glaus comes back. Also the pitching staff has been inconsistent. Hopefully, the addition of Accardo will help to round the bullpen out. I have only hit 1 home run in the first 4 games and am 1-3.. 10 runs scored, 18 allowed. cybernetic
Since I don't really have much time to play lately and the flurry of trade action.. I think I should just wait for the deadline to hit and restart it with the next version of UR after that
