jaybeetwo
This is the start of my first Owner Mode, and the first thing I did was buy the first upgrade for seating and a store that sells merchandise. Secondly I made this trade... With the addition of Carl Crawford and Alfonso Soriano, this is the lineup I created... In the first game of the three game series with the Mariners Jamie Moyer vs. Colon Colon gave up this bomb to Beltre in the 1st Inning That little white thing that isn't in Safeco Field anymore is ball from Beltre's bat. Raul Ibanez made this sliding grab (then another, and a diving catch) before hitting his two run HR in the 5th Chone Figgins 2RBI single made the score 5-2 Mariners lead. In the top of the eighth Erstad hit a two run HR and then Vlad tied the game up in the 9th. And new Angel, Carl Crawford hit a solo HR in the 10th to make it 6-5. Fransico Rodriguez got three ground outs two get te save, Scot Sheilds is the winner and J.J. Putz is the loser. Next Game... Jon Lackey vs. Joel Pinero

jaybeetwo
Jon Lackey vs. Joel Pineiro... A light rain couldn't stop the Angels from scoring. Guererro doesn't seem to be contributing enough besides having two RBI singles and a stolen base that resulted in Orlando Cabrera scoring from third on the Johjima overthrow. The still new Crawford proves even more of an asset as he homered in the first two games of the season, this one after Guererro's stolen base scoring both of them. In the following half inning Guererro show's off a little bit of leather.. robbing a possible two-run HR. Ibanez's HR in the eighth is the keeps his steady for the Mariner's and is their only real highlight for the game. W-Lackey L-Piniero Stars- Guererro 3-3, 2R, 2RBI, SB Crawford 2-4 1R, 2RBI, HR
jaybeetwo
In Washburn's first game of the year he faces his old club, in eight innings he gave up three earned runs. First to strike was Ibanez in the first with his 3 HR in three games. Guererro scored on an RBI single by Erstad. Then Cabrera snuck a 2R-HR over the left field fence. Yuniesky Betancourt hit a two run HR to tie the game in the 6th. Raul Ibanez homered again in the 8th which proved to be the game winner, and J.J. Putz slammed the door shut in the ninth. W-Washburn L-Hensly S-Putz Stars-Ibanez 2-4 2 solo HRs (GW HR) Cabrera 2-4 2R-HR Crawford 3-4 2SB
jaybeetwo
This first game of the series wasn't too much of a slugfest, both pitchers threw especially well. Early in the game Damon robbed and RBI single. In the sixth inning Figgins grounded out to 2nd but Kennedy was able to take two bases landing himself on third. This was crucial because Cabrera's Single scored Kennedy the next play. Later Guererro knocked in Figgins to make the lead 2-0. In the ninth Fransisco Rodriguez came in to close the game in the ninth, with two outs Damon singled, stole second and Jeter because Mr. Clutch once again and knocked Damon in, but the final score was 2-1. jaybeetwo
Weaver vs. Pavano The game was 1-2 NYY, and Adam Kennedy's Solo HR tied it up in the 7th. Tied going into the bottom of the eighth the Angels tee'd off on Kyle Farnsworth, but Pavano's 3 ER earned him the loss. The Angels scored 10 runs in the bottom of the eighth. W- S. Shields (2-0) L- C. Pavano Stars- All of the Angels every player was involved in the scoring. Jared Weaver - In his first MLB start he pitched 8 innings and gave up 2 runs

jaybeetwo
Did it, I'm thinking of moving Crawford (who's speed has increased to 100) to lead-off and moving figgins to two and cabrera to
jaybeetwo
In the Matchup of the two teams Ace's (Bartolo Colon and Randy Johnson) and an Angels sweep on the line they day game began... Top 1. Jeter Singles, then he steals second. Alex Rodriguez's single up the middle scores Jeter on an off-target throw from Crawford. On the throw A-Rod advanced to second and scored on the Sheffield single. Top 4. Giambi stood and admired his blast over the right field fence (3-0 NYY) Bottom 4. Figgins and Cabrera hit singles and Soriano's double knocked in Figgins, with runners on second and third Guererro's single scored both. Top 5. A-Rod hit a opposite field homer that Vlad couldn't bring back. Bottom 5. Erstad answers A-Rod's solo blast with a moon shot of his own (solo). Bottom 7.
