Last year out team did okay going 6-5 earning a 4th place finish, but this year we have to have our A game. We are facing teams from Texas, two from California, Washington D.C, and Long Island. This is going to be one tough week. We went 16-3 this year finishing first in our division, but this will be tough. I hope we can get to the championship this year. BTW: I'm in the homerun derby again! I hope it's better than last year. We got three, yes three swings. And we played on a college field so they had kids make a wall at the distance of 300 feet. Everytime someone came close they all ran back so it was a joke. Hope it's better this year. Also got my "supplies". No, i dont do shaving cream. I got mineral ice. If anyone wants to try and shaving cream me n the middle of the night, I'll make sure when they put there uniform on, it burns. :-) lol. I remember when I played on the league 10-year-old All-Star team - we traveled all over the place, ate fast food 5/7 nights a week, and really didn't have any fun at all. I never played all stars after that. We went two and out. The LL I went to hasn't won a 11-12 year old All-Star game in 9 years. NYM Posted July 23, 2006 Author Share Posted July 23, 2006 Well I just got back about two hours ago, and I'm tired. Eight games in five days is rough. Our team actually did great. I didn't expect we would go 6-2 coming in 4th out of 14.Unfortuantly that second loss was in the playoffs, and we got knocked out in the first round.
