Big Fly or Other?

Hey guys, I was wondering would you rather go big fly or just base hits to drive them runs in? I havent been hitting that many HRs and I'm playing on Pro but haven't been able to find a good slider for All-Star. I can rack up the runs on Pro but my hitting is horrible on All-star. My pitching is always good but my hitting never seems to get it. Thx.

when im trying to start a rally i always look to get guys on base and keep bringing them home but at the same time having more people on base, only because it creates a bigger threat of scoring. When i see im happy enough with small ball then i swing for the fences.

That's exactly how I play. I like stats to be pretty realistic to the players' real life counterparts, so I only try to hit homeruns with homerun hitters and whatnot.

this is a pretty good description of how i play as well - however, when there's two outs and it's late in the game with no one on, i'll try for the fences with any batter. because, every so often in sports, the little man becomes the hero :D
