Right Field to 1st ground out?

I always try to throw a runner out at first on a would be single from right field. I play as the M's with ichiro in right-field but have never gotten the runner. I was wondering has anybody ever done this?

Did it yesterday. Padres(me) vs. Giants. Using Hoop27's sliders and MD's datafile. I believe Matheny was running down the line for the Giants and I gunned him down from right field.

Sure, I've done it. The next time you play as the Mariners, try to play in a minor league park because the dimensions are shorter. That's how I threw out some runners at first.

i do it quite alot againest slow baserunners on my owner mode cus im playin wiv a short right field wall and my right fielder quite shallow.

I've done it few times, doesn't matter how shallow or far the right fielder is, I've done it by getting a hard grounder and gunned the slow runner (probably the only way to get any) out.

I used to do it alot in TP2001, There was this thing you could unlock to give your players cannon arms. It was one of the funniest things ever. I miss that game.

I amlmost got Frank Thomas a couple days ago, he hit a sharp linner into right field, and Vlad came up gunning, and missed him by about 1 step.

i used to be able to do that back on xbox on hard hit grounders throug the right side hole but on computer i've never done it

I do it 2 or 3 times a season with Crawford playing right on a shallow fly with a slow runner.

The funniest one I've done was in the bottom of the 9th in a single a game, the winning run was on third with one out. So my entire outfield was in, and there was already a runner on first. The batter hits a hard liner right at my RF, I pick it up, gun it to second, then to first for a 9-4-3 double play.

I finally did it playing in the spring training stadium with the 290 ft in RF. But I also got thrown out the same way... oh well.
