Sturtze doubled, and Reyes followed with a RBI double, putting the Mets ahead, 5-4. Octavio Dotel relieved Sturtze in the 8th. Billy Wagner, despite being overworked, came in to pitch through a difficult 9th, earning his 4th save.

YES, he's back! And still going strong!

1. I scheduled my classes so I get Friday's off (lol - nice, no?)

2. I was bored and depressed after tonight's Met game. I haven't seen a clincher in my lifetime, and was psyched up for tonight.

Stupid me, I did it again. I lost games 9,10 and 11. I'll just replay those (making sure I get to 10-1). I'll post the boxscores only. Sorry about that. I have 3 dynasties I'm having fun with, and saving over them is becoming really really annoying.

Yeah. I usually load a dynasty and then save it immediately, so it's at the top of the save list, but occasionally, I forget to. And for some reason last night, I forgot to back up my dynasty after finishing for the night. Oh well.

Before Game 17, the Mets put Pedro Martinez on the 15 day DL with inflammation in his non-pitching arm, and called up Phillip Humber.

"We haven't decided whether we're going to go with a conventional 5 man rotation, or use Humber in relief. But he will get some work in, either way." Tejesh said.

Tanyon Sturtze pitched 2 scoreless innings, and the Mets hung on for a 10 run victory.
