redsox
Hey all, I was thinking of changing my windows XP login screen to something different. I found a website that has some good images. http://www.appleblossomart.com/xplogin.htm But the thing is I don't know if I should install this. I went to Microsoft's website and they had step by step instructions as to how to have a different login screen. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314493/ The thing is microsoft website mentions to change the Registry Editor to have a different pic and they say that if done incorrectly I would have to reinstall my operating system. The new screens that I downloaded from the above website are executable files. The thing is I don't know if they change the Registry Editor thing that microsoft talks about. I was wondering if any of you had changed their login screens and if so would it be ok for me to install different screens from the website mentioned above? Also can you maybe provide the websites which are trustworthy enough for me to download login screens. Thanks very much in advance.
