hitting_help?
I was wondering if anyone knew how player progression worked. I assume that if you take control of a rookie and you have great success with him, he will improve more than if say you sim his games and he stinks throughout the year. This should be the case. Is it? Because I'm thinking about doing a lot of work with rookies, but I don't want it to be a waste.
cybernetic
It uses their star rating and age to adjust their attributes. Also the mini games will make them improv as well.

JoeCalabrese
me and my friends ..(nc4182 being one of them actually created all ourselves and we led a brewers team**the brew crue to the championship and won) after that we dropped horribly i think it depends on age/what stats and how good is he and if he has had the right exposure/playing time
