D-Unit
I actually thought about that despite only having a 25 man roster in September. I will probably put him in the pen for the last few weeks and start him once.
comann22deuces
good deal..can't wait to see that...you never know.one of your starters might get hurt , and you need a fill-in, or you might just get a trade oppurtunity and get rid of him at the deadline, which i wouldn'tprefer, but hey..it makes things interesting when you got good prospects. D-Unit
Okay, my computer was being uncool and while I did my write-up last night, my computer froze. And of course, I didn't save my game yet. I had to turn it off and now I have to replay opening day. I am in the middle of the game right now (and I like the results of this game better than yesterday's lol) and should have it up today.

D-Unit
I finished the Yankees-Angels game a little bit ago, I will put it up tomorrow around noon, stay tuned... EDIT: Sorry guys, I had family from Flordia come by suprise, they will be here today too. And things might go even slower, school is starting next week and since it's the year colleges look at my grades, I have to severely limit playing MVP for a while. D-Unit
OK, I was moving some dynasty save files around in the My Documents folder, and for some reason my Yankee dynasty was kidnapped. Until it is returned, this dynasty is through. Sorry guys. I have bad luck, don't I?

D-Unit
Guys, I found my dynasty file (i accidentally moved it into the wrong place), but I am gonna do something different with this. I am gonna sim through the rest of the season, and restart the dynasty in 2007. It will be much more interesting, I will be shaking up the team a little bit since there are a lot of free agents and the rotation will look a little different. Do you guys believe in this idea? catzrthecoolest
if that's what you want to do... sorry if this has been asked a hundred thousand times, but how did you do the MLB.com... thing? :p
D-Unit
It is a format I use, would you like a copy? EDIT: For future reference, if you want a copy, PM me about it.
D-Unit
I have simmed up to September, and the Yankees are owning. They are like a game away from clinching, and Jeter is a leading MVP candidate. I will post a season review sometime before tomorrow, including playoffs. I will start a "new dynasty" beginning with the offseason moves I will make. It will be more interactive with you guys, and I am gonna ditch the MLB format becaue it takes too much time and I am gonna try a new style. Alex Rodriguez pumps his fist after his first of two home runs. Both were two run blasts. Jason Giambi compliments A-Rod's second homer with a deep drive over the left field wall. He knew it was gone from making contact with the pitch. Derek Jeter powers one the opposite way...again. This capped the offensive portion of the Yankees' night. Bobby Abreu makes a sparklink catch to rob Ronnie Belliard of an RBI and a hit in the sixth. Alex Rodriguez gives this one a ride to cut the Yankee deficit to one run. Carl Pavano didn't do much in the season, but in the playoffs he has been solid. Derek Jeter smokes an opposite field 2 run homer which would eventually hold up as the winning run. ***Mike Mussina will get the ball for Game 5. Randy Johnson said he had some stiffness in a bullpen session and might pitch an inning or two in relief if he feels better. Mussina has also been one of the better pitchers in the playoffs for the Yankees. They will try to clinch the World Series at home tomorrow night.*** Game 5 STL 6 NYY 5 W - Thompson (1-0) L - Rivera (0-1) S - Isringhausen (6) Scoring Report: Top 3 - Pujols 2R-HR, STL 2-0 Bot 3 - Posada RBI 1B, STL 2-1 Bot 4 - Posada RBI 2B,Tie 2-2 Top 6 - J. Rodriguez 1-4, HR, 2 RBI Game Highlights: Albert Pujols puts the Cards on the board, showing why he was the NL MVP. Jorge Posada smacks a single up the middle to cut the lead to 2-1. Johnny Damon has yet another assist, with Juan Encarnacion being his victim again. Hideki Matsui ties up the game with a two-run blast in the fourth inning. Bobby Abreu hits a clutch two run shot in the seventh that seemed to be the winning runs to clinching a World Series. Jason Giambi sits in the dugout after a heartbreaking loss in Game 5. Now they have to travel back to St. Louis for the final two games. In the top of the ninth, I had runners on first and third with two outs, facing Albert Pujols. I threw two wild pitches in a row, and both runners scored. Then Isringhausen threw 9 pitches for the save. DAMN! Game Highlights: Bobby Abreu gets the Bombers on the board in the first with an RBI single. Robinson Cano whacks a two run homer in the second. Had to post this picture of Randy Johnson looming over David Eckstein. Alex Rodriguez drills one of two homers on the night, driving in six runs altogether. Ronnie Belliard gives the Cardinals the lead with a grand slam off Randy Johnson. Jorge Posada completes one of SEVEN assists made by the Yankees in a single game. Jim Edmonds hits the ball and knows he just won Game 6 of the World Series, forcing a decisive Game 7. Jim Edmonds celebrates at home plate following his Walk-Off Home Run off Kyle Farnsworth (who guessed Farnsworth would lose it?) Bernie Williams sits in the dugout after the game. The Yankees were one out away from winning the World Series in two different games. Game 7 NYY 9 STL 5 W - Wang (2-2) L - Marquis (0-2) World Series MVP: Alex Rodriguez .387, 6 HR, 15 RBI Scoring Report: Top 1 - Rodriguez 2R-HR, NYY 2-0 Top 2 - Damon RBI 2B, Abreu RBI 1B, NYY 4-0 Bot 3 - Rolen RBI 3B, Pujols RBI 1B,NYY 4-2 Top 6 - Cano 2R-HR, NYY 6-2 Bot 6 - Edmonds Inside The Park HR, NYY 6-3 Top 7 - Posada RBI 5-3, NYY 7-3 Bot 8 - Eckstein solo HR, Belliard RBI 1B, NYY 7-5 Top 9 - Giambi RBI 1B, Matsui RBI 1B, NYY 9-5 Yankee Notables: Rodriguez 2-5, 2B, HR, 2 RBI Giambi 3-4, 2B, RBI Wang 7 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, BB, 2K Cardinals Notables: Eckstein 2-5, HR, RBI Edmonds 2-4, HR, RBI Game Highlights: Alex Rodriguez obliterates a fastball worthy of a two run shot to give New York a 2-0 lead. Chien-Ming Wang was inconsistent throughout the playoffs until tonight, throwing seven solid innings to pick up the win and a ring. Derek Jeter's trademark throw from the outfield grass, throwing out Ronnie Belliard in the progress. So Taguchi robs a run and a double with a spectacular diving catch. David Eckstein gets the crowd going with a solo homer to cut down the Yankee lead in the eighth inning off of Scott Proctor. With two out and runners on second and third, Ronnie Belliard laced a single to left. One run scored to make it 7-5, but Hideki Matsui made a beautiful throw home and Jorge Posada slapped Jim Edmonds in the face to save a run and end the eighth inning. A few minutes after his throw, Matsui gives the Yanks a bigger lead with an RBI single. Kyle Farnsworth steps on first base to record the final out of the 2006 World Series, with the Yankees defeating the Cardinals 4 games to 3. LET THE CELEBRATION BEGIN! And a message from George Steinbrenner: Now that I FINALLY won the World Series, I will now resume the dynasty with Free Agnecy, posting updates soon.
