MVP 2005 Dynasty Mode Rosters: UR 7.1 Standard Team: Philadelphia Phillies Difficulty: Rookie Sliders: None Schedule: 2006 Hot/Cold Zone: Onn Pitch Cursor: On Fair Trades: On Budgets: On Questions :?: /Comments :idea: : post below. Phils swing for the fences as they take game 1. www.mlb.com Jon Lieber pitched 8 innings of shutout baseball leading the phillies to a 7-0 win. Chase Utley and Bobby Abreu hit back-to-back homeruns, and 1 out later Pat Burrell was robbed of a homer by Jose Guillen. A few innings later, Jimmy Rollins struck a deep home to increase the lead to 5-0. In the 8th inning, Ryan Howard came up with Utley on 2nd and Abreu on 1st, and he smacked a base hit up the middle. Alfonso Soriano missed the ball allowing Abreu to score after Utley, Howard was thrown out trying to make it to third. Tom Gordon received his first save with a 1-2-3 9th inning.
