JoeRudi26
..actually play for any team in the Majors, who would it be? I'm a life long A's fan, but it doesn't necessarily mean if I was talented enough and could CHOOSE, that I would play in Oakland. I live fairly close to St. Louis, and have had the opportunity to see them on T.V. almost every day of the regular season, and have been to countless games. In my opinion, the atmosphere is top notch, and you couldn't ask for a better fanbase. They're knowlegable, dedicated, and for the most part, pleasant and civil at the games. On the other hand, I am by no means a LaRussa fan, but other than that, I would have to choose the Cards.
UncleMo
A's in hopes that when they get rid of me I could get a job in their front office. Same with the Braves.
Spivey11
I'd love to be able to play under Bobby Cox in Atlanta...

Guest
I'd be like a SP for the A's
RAM
same here. i'm a giants fan but, i don't think i would play for them. i'd probably say the nationals. that may seem weird but, i've just always rooted for them since the montreal days for some reason. maybe because they were ran so pitfully before they finally moved to dc. redsox
As a big Red Sox fan, I would love to play for them. I used to play shortstop in high school (believe it or not I ideolize Derek Jeter). But playing SS for the Red Sox and being part of arguably the greatest rivalry in sports is just too easy of an answer. I would actually want to play for a team that doesn't get so much attention as the Red Sox. A team like the Brewers would do just fine for me (or Rockies or Twins). Hokieboy
this is a great question rudy. i love the yankees, but it seems like it might be a little intense to play in that town. so i'd probably go with a team like the Tigers or the Pirates. It would be really fun to play in one of those new ballparks, not on artificial surface like Minnesota or Toronto. both of those teams have pretty good tradition and the fans would be decent. Kccitystar
I'd play for the yankees if steinbrenner waived the "clean-cut" rule, which is just ridiculous. I don't want to have to shave my beloved strap (sideburns connecting across the chin) just to play for a team.

philliesphan18
Hmm this is interesting... I am not sure if I would want to play for the Phils (lack of clubhouse atmosphere). So along that line maybe the Tigers. Although if this were a long term thing that remains to be seen. If they flop next year then it's between the Red Sox, White Sox, and Cardinals. But if the Phils get good  it is them.
JoeyMcM93
A's. With all that young talent I would fit right in. I may be a tad under the normal age (I'm 13), but I could make it work.
ChicagoCubs720
I'd like to play CF for the Astros so I could run up that hill and make highlight-reel catches. I'd also love to play outfield at Wrigley, I dont need any padding on the walls, im not afraid to run into the bricks and ivy this would be me after every game:
fred13
As a life-long Jays fan, living in the Toronto Area my whole life, It would be the Rogers Centre (Skydome in my heart) for me. The only other team I would want to play for, would be the Yankees. The history that goes into that jersey and the feeling of stepping onto Yankee Stadium is just astounding. One jersey I would never put on - Boston.
Sean O
Indians. Tortured fanbase who would love you forever for bringing them a ring. Nice stadium to play in, so you aren't playing in some hole 81 times a year. 19 games a year against the Royals, so it's easy competition and much time at Kauffman Stadium. Though, the more I think about it, San Diego might be the perfect place. You live in San Diego, Petco is an adequate park, and it's a pitcher's paradise. Then, just catch some malady when you head into Coors and you'll be golden.
Bama
San Diego would be a nice place to play...oh man...perfect weather year round, and a nice place to live...screw Atlanta...i'm changing my answer to San Diego.
patrickdron
If I could play for any team in the majors it'd be the whitesox because I've been a whitesox fan for a long time. I would say the Braves since I live in Georgia and close to Atlanta but I wouldn't want to deal with going to the playoffs and not going beyond. or I'd play for the Blue Jays Toronto's a pretty cool city. or San Diego wonderful weather and awesome beaches. D-Unit
Yankees. I love New York, and while I was born in Queens, the Bronx is my favorite place to watch a game. I love the atmosphere of New York, the city life of riding the trains and everything, the people, it's perfect for me.
Yankee4Life
For me, there would be no other choice but to play for the Yankees. I can't think of any other team. But let me be really honest here, if I was a baseball prospect and I had a chance to play major league ball, I would play anywhere. I think most of us in here would agree with that. meteamo
Y4L, would you play for the Red Sox? Good Question ... lol Forget about playing for a team, I would be happy making the league minimum even if I just sat on the bench. But, playing for the Yanks or Mets would be great. However, as I believe someone said before, New York may the hardest place to play in. Look at A-Rod and Beltran and how they were booed. I'm sure any other team would eagerly take them and wouldn't even boo them. One wrong move, and it's not good. So, I guess I would choose a safe team that would gladly cheer for anyone. Let's try the Royals. 8O
