teampunjabi
I downloaded the KSM dat file for the camera and gameplay tuning and the file comes in .txt . What do I do with this file. I thought it was supposed to be in a big format? Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/22588-dat-file-installation-help/ Share on other sites
edm
No, thats correct. just put the txt file inside your MVP Baseball 2005data Folder. It will over ride the default datafile.big. What other mods do you have installed? Have you tried another datfile? snepp
If you put the datafile.txt into the Data folder it will work just fine. Which datafile is it and what are you expecting to see that's not there? snepp
Would help if you provide a direct link to the datafile you're talking about. Is this the one? http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Down...details&id=3187 If so, it appears the only camera that changed was batting view 5, you would need to make sure to change to that camera when you're in-game. So you will know exactly how to install and what it's supposed to do. I have noticed recently a couple of datafiles available include no actual installation instructions (a big oversight). I don't know if that's the case here though. teampunjabi
yes it does have a readme. Some of the others I downloaded did not. So when jack319's did not work, I became confused. The problem seemed to be the UR rosters 7.1 plus and the Schmooz model download. Jim825
If you read the earlier posts in this thread, you would see that all you need to do is copy the .txt file to your MVP Baseball 2005 data folder. It will override any settings in the datafile.big file.
