chezboots
How do I know if this datafile I downloaded is working and what it changes? The file was just a text file so I'm not sure what it does? I unzipped to the datafile folder and played a game but it still seems the same. And is this the best datafile to use or is there a better one? I downloaded this one because I am using all other big schmooz files on here.
snepp
Put it in the "data" folder, the same folder that has the models.big in it.
chezboots
OK, but how do I know if it is working, what is the biggest change I should notice?
big shmooz
Camera angle is different in the main (hitters eye) view. (plus other views) Also in the introduction as you get onto the field, the panning of the camera is way nicer in my data file. Also, the pitch meter green area will be smaller. These are the most obvious things you will notice right away. As you actually play, you will notice the ball physics are way different (much more realistic) You will also notice less homeruns. The infielders will move slower. (you should also make sure in your silder settings as I posted on the website, to lower the infielder speed to minus 42 both for you & the cpu) There are loads of other modifcations you will probably notice as you play more games.
