TwentySeven
I want to hear which players you guys take as backups. Who are your backups in the infield, outfield, maybe some long relief pitching? I take Alex Cora and Miguel Cairo in the infield, and David DeJesus and Bernie Williams in the OF. Cora is a pretty steady bat, DeJesus is pretty fast, and Williams is a good bat, too. For pitching, I usually take someone like Cory Lidle for long relief.
Sandlot
Cairo as infield utility, Reed Johnson outfield utility, and for my long relief I have Sidney Ponson and/or Adam Lowen.

phxsuns
Willie Bloomquist can play all positions well except catcher and pitcher. Thats why he always has a spot on my bench. Plus he has good speed for pitch-running.
achilles17
Cairo is always good, and Podsednik is a good backup outfielder/pinch runner.
Dom2662
I use Cairo as utility, Reed johnson and Victorino in OF, Fasano as backup catcher, and mike wood and Brandon McCarthy as long relief.

shugknight
Basically my outfield is like a circus. I created myself, and I currently play CF, so in order for me to do that, I had to platoon the rest of the guys to play the other positions. So far it has worked really well.. Brian Anderson and Pods platoon LF (take turns depending on lefty or righty pitcher) Anderson is my starter, even though Pods is at a 99 speed. Joe Crede and Rob Mackowiak take turns at 3rd (Crede is my starter). Cintron subs in for Iguchi or Uribe at 2nd and SS. Gload subs in at first, sometimes RF. John Buck is also my backup catcher. I acquired him in the offseason since Widger retired. So far so good, he has a good arm, decent bat, and is faster than AJ.

TwentySeven
Well I made a new dynasty, and Melky Cabrera is a pretty good backup. Jay Payton is also a good backup OF Shea Hillenbrand is a good bench bat or infielder.
