philliesphan18
Recently my MVP Game has been really choppy. The graphics and sound stutter a lot. Does anyone know anything to fix this?
snepp
Are you saying that it wasn't choppy before? Have you added any mods recently?
Campo09
It could have to do with the fact that when you add mods they make the file a lot bigger so the disk cant run most of it, also most of the game without mods is run with the disk. Another problem could be your graphics card.

Lars777
You could also try cleaning the graphics card......as it does not take long for dust to pile up in and on the rectifier and fan. This very thing happened to me as I was playin nhl2006 with out any problems then slowley the game started to become choppy. It was the graphics card gettin hot as all the dust created a blanket so to speak keeping the gpu from cooling....... Took it apart and cleaned it and we were back in busieness. Just a thought! philliesphan18
No I did not install and mods lately. Wait it started soon after UR 7.0 but that probably isn't it. And how am I supposed to clean the graphics card on a labtop. Yeah kinda hard. I'll try that link.
big shmooz
First step... Try cleaning out your cache. If you are using any OS other than XP, try defragging your hard drive. Also, do you connect to the internet with this computer? If so, this issue may have to do with either adware (spyware) or a virus. (or both) Try using a program such as adaware to check for spyware & a virus checker for possible viruses.
philliesphan18
Cache? Sorry I should know what it is but I don't remember! I am kinda tired. And I am using XP. I'll also check for viruses. Thanks
