carolinamagi
I started a season with the Cards a few weeks ago and noticed that Clemens was a free agent (one of the more recent roster updates) and I signed him to Memphis. He was doing pretty good but about a month into my season I was getting pretty tired of Jaun Encarnacion and so I pulled a sly move . . . . I sent Clemens to the ChiSox for Dye . . . . Since then I've made some other bizzarre moves that really test the boundaries of "fair trades" (despite what the game tells me is fair) but I have begun to wonder what moves you all have made to make your team the best. . . . Rags
i thought this was relatively "fair" but it's kinda unrealistic but i didn't feel bad about it I'm the athletics and I traded for ken griffey jr... I sent frank thomas, jay payton, and my #2 pitching prospect frank thomas and payton weren't making a ton of money and my #2 pitching prospect was obivoulsy my 2nd best pitcher behind dan meyer in the minors, and i took the entire salary of griffey....so i viewed that as pretty fair
cruecu
the computer just offered me Joe Mauer for Gary Sheffield. Not only did I try this exact trade a week earlier to no avail, but I wanted to get rid of Sheff since I picked up Soriano. Now I have someone to replace Posada next year. Thank you can I have another
myk13
with the Padres, Tim Stauffer for Carl Crawford and Stauffer for Phillip Hughes always seems to work...if only that was possible in real life

bluenotebacker
I have a Cards dynasty going, traded Miles and Mulder to the Nationals for John Patterson and Soriano. Fair trades are on and the CPU accepted it no problem I currently have Carpenter, Patterson, Suppan, Marquis, and Reyes (who is getting rocked! lol) and have been looking for another starting pitcher, but no one is dealing right now. ixcuincle
Traded Livan Hernandez to Cincinatti for Ken Griffey Jr...now Griffey is tearing it up in DC. I was able to make other wacky trades involving trading someone I can't recall to Boston for Johnny Damon , and trading John Patterson to Baltimore for Daniel Cabrera. sfgiantsflgators
traded vizquel to oakland for bobby crosby and jay witasik (salary dump). witasik was a giant for 30 seconds before i released him. :D
DJEagles
I was able to trade Lyle Overbay and Fran Catalanatto to the D'Rays for Crawford and Huff. Crawford is on fire in T.O. and Huff is doing nicely as my DH/3B.
infineon
I traded Frank Catalanatto for Carl Crawford, as well as Josh Towers, Bengie Molina and Brian Tallet for Francisco Liriano and Joe Mauer. :)
duckdodger215
last year, after my first season of my dodgers dynasty, ODP got the Cy, so I shipped him to the Cubbies for D-Lee
sfgiantsflgators
not so much wacky trades as they were 3 for 1 deals. but here are some i made this offseason in my giants dynasty: SF trades Matt Morris, Jamey Wright, and a minor leaguer for Francisco Liriano. SF trades Moises Alou, Horacio Ramirez (signed as free agent), and minor leaguer for Carl Crawford (who was traded to Baltimore during the season, and therefore lost his "easy" acquireability). SF trades Steve Finley, Daniel Cabrera (also signed as free agent), and minor leaguer for Prince Fielder.
