Holiday
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice... I run Windows XP Pro on an AMD Athlon 1.3 ghz machine with 256 megs RAM. I just put in a new ATI Radeon 9250 Sapphire card with 128 megs video RAM. Here is the problem: when I try to load MVP Baseball 2005, my screen flickers two or three times and then crashes to the desktop without any error messages. I ran dxdiag tests on my new video card and it checked out fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe specifically with this card? Any help would be appreciated because, obviously, the MVP addiction is calling me.
snepp
What driver version? Which DirectX version? Do any other 3D apps work?
Holiday
The newest driver version downloaded from the site; 9.0c (the requirement in EAsy Info). I don't have any other 3d apps.
snepp
I don't have an ATI card, but I've read other people suggest using the 4.1 or 4.2 catalysts (something along those lines anyway).
Holiday
I'll research that and see what the deal is on catalysts. I'll report back tonight. Any other suggestions still welcome! Thanks!
