Kriegz
just got the controller and it works great but does anyone know the controls for slide and pickoff :?
monkE0044
u slide with the right analog stick, and to pick off you hold the top left button, #7 and hold the base you want to throw to, for example #4 for 1st and #2 for 2nd..hope that helps
Zephyr
How many fire buttons does it have--ie, are there any buttons that are doubles of the face buttons or turbo buttons, or do they all have indivisual features and functions?
monkE0044
i use the same controller, so those are the keys for slide and pickoff

Jim825
The P880 works great. The only change you'll need to make is a small edit to the controller.cfg file so that the right analog stick works properly when fielding or sliding. By default, you have to press left for a headfirst dive or slide and right for a feet first dive or slide. To move left or right, you have to press up or down. The small change described in the following message board thread corrects this: http://www.mvpmods.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.ph...p;...light=p880 It's now much more intuitive (and follows the description in the game manual): Press up to jump up / slide head first, press down to dive forward / slide feet first. Press left to slide inside of the bag, press right to slide outside the bag, etc. The controller.cfg file is in your My Documents / MVP Baseball 2004 folder.
