MVP Edit Help.

Hey guys, I'm kind of confused about using MVP Edits to insert pictures in for a player. I made a alpha and pic for Belliard but I do not know how to use MVP Edits to insert it in. Could I get a simple step-bye-step tutorial? Thanks.

first make sure the option for 2x portraits is checked in the options menu. Then click on the existing portrait and when the new window opens up click delete fsh. when it is finished deleting, there should be a message that says "no picture found" where the portrait should be. Click on that again. Then insert your two files. One portrait and one alpha.

Should it appear after I replace the "no pic found" with the alpha and pic?

If I opened the roster with a .mbe .. how do I save it after? Just go to Save as and double click on the same file?

just export it back into your database folder when you are done. When you finish puting your files in, the new portrait should appear before you exit mvpedit.

If it doesn't show, does it mean it doesn't work? Right After I put in the new alpha and stuff, it doesn't show up and neither does any of the other player's either.

Should I post my alpha and pic to let you see if it should work?

All I did was crop it in Photoshop to make him centered, resized it to 256x256, opened up MVPEdit, went to Belliard, made sure "Export 2x Portraits" was checked, clicked on his picture, located the picture file, clicked on the alpha, located and loaded the alpha file, and voila.

Doesn't matter for portraits, you don't have to save for them to show up in the game UNLESS you assigned that current player a new ID. For Belliard it doesn't matter since he already had a certain ID. I was using my own roster by the way, but Belliard was still the same ID as UR or Soriano's.

Well, they're supposed to be 128x128 (1x) or 256x256 (2x). The picture one should be saved as 24-bit, and the alpha as 8-bit. The alpha should also be grayscale. That's about all there is to it.

Could you try using the BMP that I sent you without your added cropping and see if it works. thx.
