xiberger
Very nice dynasty, cybernetic! I really like the style of your presentation. Your latest boxscores are absolutely fantastic, too. Are you using an updated version of tywiggins' BoxScoreExtractor or have you edited the play-by-play action yourself?
cybernetic
I edit the play-by-play manually.. the game doesn't keep track of that stuff in the boxscores.
cybernetic
I got roughed up by Boston 11-2 this time. My pitching wasn't sharp. Box Score Next up: Schilling vs. Burnett in the finale.

cybernetic
I start school again tomorrow so I probably won't play as much except on my off-days or the weekends. I'm probably going to trade one of my catchers (most likely Molina) to clear some payroll.
cybernetic
I made all the recent moves.. also I have signed 1B/DH Dmitri Young as a free agent and optioned IF Ryan Roberts to AAA Syracuse. Young is expected to be the everyday DH for the time being and bat 6th right now. I'll play a game later on tonight most likely.
D-Unit
Nice pickup with Young. You're gonna get the good side of him because in MVP, people can't be alcoholics and woman beaters.

Yeah that's why I signed him.. his numbers blow anyone else on my team's out of the water. He has 22 RBI already and 4 homers. The team lead is 3 homers and I believe 10 RBI (before him). TheProdigy
Great win man, AJ Burnett pitched marvelously, love the updates. I like the Young pickup, he is somewhat versatile, you just need to catch up in the standings, with a team like the Blue Jays, it's not impossible. cybernetic
Great win man, AJ Burnett pitched marvelously, love the updates. I like the Young pickup, he is somewhat versatile, you just need to catch up in the standings, with a team like the Blue Jays, it's not impossible. Basically I've struggled in two areas which are the key to all of it: 1. The pitching has been inconsistent most of the year 2. The offense has also been Fielding has been great though but I haven't done anything really as far as stealing bases. There's a good chance that I will send down one of these guys: Brandon League Scott Downs (I'm leaning towards trading him) Jason Frasor All have very high ERA's although Downs has only pitched one inning and has an ERA of 36. The other two have had a decent work load and have ERA's around 8.
cybernetic
I've decided to option League to AAA and recall Francisco Rosario. League's ERA was just shy of 10. Rosario had a an ERA just shy of 2 in AAA and almost a 9 K/9 innings rate
JoeyMcM93
Sending League down is probably a good idea. Hew still needs a little seasoning in AAA.
cybernetic
Game 1 starters announced: BAL: Daniel Cabrera (0-0, 1.93 ERA) in 4.2 innings of work out of the pen. He takes the rotation spot of Bruce Chen who struggled. TOR: Ted Lilly (0-2, 4.09 ERA) in 22 innings. Lilly hasn't had much run support at all this season and has pitched much better than his record shows. I also lost AAA OF Wayne Lydon to a season-ending knee injury. He tore his ACL. D-Unit
You should be able to pass the Yankees without trouble. When you don't play as them, they use Jeter to lead off followed by Damon, then they DH Giambi, put Wilson at first, and then bench Abreu. They also call up Philip Hughes and Jeff Karstens and send down Farnsworth and Villone.

D-Unit
Really? Cool. I did that because the Rangers had Carlos Lee leading off and Michael Young hitting third.

cybernetic
I'm not going to do a report for this game since I'd like to get in another game tonight before it gets too late. Randy Johnson shut me out in a complete game. Derek Jeter hit two solo home runs for all their offense as they beat me 2-0. I lost Reed Johnson in the first inning on a collision trying to bust up a double play. He has a fractured right arm. He'll be lost for about six weeks on the 15-day DL. Box Score Transactions: Placed OF Reed Johnson on the 15-day DL Optioned LHP Scott Downs to Syracuse (AAA) Recalled LHP Brian Tallet and purchased the contract of OF Chad Mottola Mottola and John-Ford Griffin are expected to platoon in left during Johnson's absence for the time being. Dmitri Young may also see some time in left as well. Also the Saturday game between the Yankees/Blue Jays has been postponed due to rain and will be played as part of a day/night doubleheader on Sunday. It will be Mike Mussina (2-1, 2.86 ERA) for the Yankees against A.J. Burnett (3-1, 3.30 ERA) in the first game. It's expected to be Chien-Ming Wang against Ted Lilly in the night cap. Minor league players of the month: A-Ball Pitcher: Bobby Ray AA Pitcher: Kurt Isenberg (actually started the month in A) AAA Pitcher: Casey Janssen A-Ball Hitter: OF Cory Patton AA Hitter: SS Manny Mayorson AAA Hitter: SS Sergio Santos
