Hickey
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but how do I import rosters into MVP edit without a run-time error? It says Run-Time Error '3163': The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less. This is my first time using the editor and I am attempting to edit the latest Ultimate Rosters. Thank you very much.

Hickey
I already installed the new patch, so that's not the problem, unless I installed it wrong. I did just reinstall it in case I did wrong and that doesn't seem to be the problem. Can anyone else help? Sorry for the trouble.

Sorry for the trouble. try downloading a roster with an MBE file in it (Ultimate Rosters 7.2). Importing default rosters into mvpedit has a issue of having run time errors when doing it like that. When you open the mbe file just export the files to c:/program files/ea sports/mvp baseball 2005/ data/database folder and overwrite. Once you do that you will now be able to import the rosters without the run time error.

BigDom
it is because totte adds shane spener to the .dat files, so that the batting minigame will work, and not crash... most of you will know what I am talking about
